GTX 850m or R9 Laptop under $1000

Hello all I'm looking for a laptop under $1000 with GTX 850 or R9 graphics card. Rest of specs don't really matter. Import, 2nd hand or refurb is fine. Cheapest I've found so far in Aus is $1199 new with free tablet.

other specs dont matter, so an 800x600 screened celeron with 2g ram and a whopping great video card? :)

first google search was this under $1000, http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1083638-REG/asus_x550j…

    ASUS X550JK-DH71

Thank you for taking time to do a google search for me. Alas I've seen that one already and after shipping it ends up being $1100+

By the way if you can find an 800x600 Celeron laptop with a GTX 850m I'd be very interested..

  • Get a refurb Lenovo Y50.

Probably won't be able to snag one for under a $1000 though.
Picked mine up for about $1150 delivered. Games look better than on Xbone and PS4.

  • Hi Ryballs, I'm also in the market for something similar, what laptop is the one going for 1,199 with the free tablet? And would you be able provide the site? Cheers

  • Should be able to get something from horize for $1200 or less even. http://www.horize.com/

  • nodloh: Thanks I will keep an eye on the lenovo outlet.

Gunther: I've sent them an enquiry, cheers.

  • Thanks Ryballs!

  • This is the person I got mine off.

Make sure if you get it you ask to have the invoice less than $1000 AUD to avoid import taxes.
