  Hawaii return was under $600 with Jetstar. Not sure it's a great deal.

  Can't speak on the deal, but I purchased some American Tourister hard case luggage about 6 months ago. It's been on several flights and although scuffed (nothing will save your luggage from the torture of the luggage conveyor), the shit is strong and sturdy.

  They are basically the same materials as Samsonite (they are a subsidiary of Samsonite), but aimed more towards 'younger' people, they come in bright colours and have less trimmings (ie. no leather, no extra accessories included). If you want professional looking, get Samsonite, otherwise American Tourister is right up your alley.
