28 Degrees Auto Payment after Each Transaction?

Anyway to set this up? I see they have DD but that is for the end of the month only. Cheers

Wouldn't it be better to pay monthly and keep the cash in your offset or high interest savings account until then?

No benefit in paying per transaction.

I doubt if any financial institution would offer this, there's overhead in processing a DD.

If you are going to pay right away, why not use a debit card. Unless you are trying to get the price match warranty.

Pretty sure he's after the price protection insurance. It costs x% (2.5% off the top of my head) of the statement balance (closing balance?) each month. If statement balance is $0, ie everything paid off before then, the insurance effectively becomes free.

I would say you have nailed it with that comment.

And given they don't want you to pay it off quickly. so they can gain the fees, I think the likelihood of 28 degrees implementing something like this is zero degrees.

        • Thumbs up. Yep this is why.

Also I dont use the 28d card often so I often forget to pay it before months end.

        • @j5ive: So set up a DD and you can forget.

And get charged for the insurance

@j5ive: So sad, can't have it both ways. :P Set up a reminder in your calendar then.
