    Price Slashed! Regular Price: $219

    Slashed to $189 = what, 15% which is hardly earth shattering.

    Mistral = cheap and nasty
    4kg = TINY - will take 2 or 3 loads to dry a average load of washing
    Consumes 192KW per year = when used once per week (read energy label)

    Timer = Energy effiency fail

    Irrespective of the brand, this kind of dryer is just a disaster and environmentally irresponsible. How can anybody guess how long to run the unit for? It's impossible, so generally you will always "over-cook" the clothes just to be sure they get dried. Apart from wasting power, the clothes end up all crisp from being dried out too far.

    Don't buy crap household products like this. Spend the extra hundred and get a SENSOR drier from a name brand like Fisher & Paykel or Electrolux. This will be larger, more efficient, and because it auomatically senses moisture level it will only use enoug energy to just dry the clothes to your desired setting.

    I've purchased this. I only use it about once a month, but for the last 24 months it hasn't missed a beat.
