Hi all,

It's been a while! The falling currency has hit us all hard in the industry here but whatever extra we can do, we'll do :3

So we're back with a Sandisk Ultra 8GB MicroSD Deal. Here's how it works:

Sandisk 8GB Ultra MicroSD, first 100, early bird special. Limit 1 per customer for $5.95
Sandisk 8GB Ultra MicroSD for $6.95 (after the early bird is sold out or for those wanting more than one)

Shipping is free, Australia-wide. Sale lasts until Friday 13th of February, 2PM or sold out.

I am currently overseas so all questions, queries or inquiries - drop us a comment below but it will be handled by Francesca! (I think some of you like her better anyhow >_> ). Apologies in advance if this main post is slow to update.

Happy shopping!

Thank you, we are happy to hear your feedback.

  • It doesn't take over 18 months as a Store Rep here to know the title should name the vendor. It isn't such a great deal anyway - I bought a Samsung MicroSD 32Gb card a few months ago at MSY for $9.

Pickup I'd assume? The free shipping alone is great. And I'm using microSD in all my RPi's so 8GB is perfect.

    • Is it a class 10 48MB/s?

      • +2

        Yes,Class 10, 48Mb/s for sure.
        Thanks

        • Sorry I meant the 32GB card @PJC bought from MSY

        • +1

@praga: Yes it was pickup. It is a Samsung EVO Micro SDHC I 32Gb but I cannot see mention of a class.

@PJC: irrc Evos are 48MB/s, Good deal

    • Why didn't you share that deal at the time?

      • Because then I would have been posting a dupe.

        • Wow 6 months back no wonder I didn't recall seeing a deal on this

        • @aim54x: Identical to the one on eBay luke73 refers to. It has a 1 inside a U which I suppose signifies UHS-1. Is that as good as Class 10?

$3.75 more for double the storage.

    • Cheers mate - am after a 32GB micro SD to use in an Acer tablet, but not sure about this:

"not compatible with standard microSD-enabled devices/readers"

      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Kingston-32GB-MicroSD-Memory-Card…

This should work in any device though right?

      • That's weird, I am guessing it should work.
Or get the Samsung Evo 32gb in my link for $20.80 delivered.

      • 'standard' as opposed to SDHC and SDXC. any modern device should accept at least SDHC

  • Just bought it as a kicker.

Nice to have around and great for testing.

  • Grabbed one as spare. Great store and easy order/payment options.

  • Looking for a cheap 4GB microsd for my phone. Any ideas what to buy?

I only need 1.7GB to replace my broken one… I have nandobackups.

      Hi,

      We do have a listing for a 4GB microSD - http://pcbyte.com.au/sandisk-4gb-microsd - but it does cost $4.95.
If your phone is compatible with the 8GB microSD, it's not a bad choice to get the 8GB as it is only a dollar more for almost double the capacity, but it is your choice in the end.
If you'd like I can check the compatibility of your phone with the 8GB microSD we have on special currently.

Any chances of a 128GB Evo MicroSD special?

  • Received today the 8GB SanDisk microSDHC, it doesn't look a genuine SanDisk. Anyone else confirm?

    • +1

All of our products are 100% authentic genuine from Sandisk.
      Thanks

      • thanks, good to know.

  • Just ordered the 128GB Evo $114.95, not a bad price, thanks to Andrew for fixing up my boo boo so quickly (I managed to order the wrong card initially).
