Really bad timing as Lent began last week… :(

      What's a Lent?

      • It's the time of the year to eat lentils.

Where you lend someone your tools, and they don't return them. Yeah, that's what he meant.

    No bargain.

      You're a good catholic…

    • Free food/meals are posted all the time. How is this any different?

      • How is this any different?

Because nearly all Ozbargainers can't take up this offer…
        It belongs in the forums…

        • How is that different to a food offer being available to the first 500 people at a particular store? A single store isn't accessible to "nearly all Ozbargainers" and this is arguably available to a lot more people, as there are thousands of emergency service workers.

There's simply a different set of criteria required to take up this deal/bargain.

Because those deals aren't available ONLY to the first 500 Emergency Service Workers, anyone can take up the offer.

  • Great idea.

  • Let's treat workers with garbage in a box, sounds good.

What a great gesture by Domino's

They should also be providing FREE pizza to the residents affected, which are more in need since most would be practically homeless for the time being

    • Yep, the emergency workers already get free food…

      • +1

and the poor homeless have to buy food

        • Wouldn't surprise me if Domino's put up their prices in those areas to make up the shortfall of giving away pizzas to emergency workers.

        • there are other avenues for them to get food, why be salty like that? How are you going to identify those who are the genuine needy from those that have no shame and try to get free food?

Why can't we all just see it as a good gesture and not worry if it's a "bargain" or not.

    • Why can't we all just see it as a good gesture

Might as well post a 'deal' then when Red Cross come knocking at your door…

If it's just a 'good gesture' and not a bargain, it belongs in the forums.
