YES! For those who dont remember last time Wild Bean did a free coffee promo they didnt print this and there were loads of problems. For once, a company that learns from past mistakes- Bravo!

Offer limited to one voucher per person.

Is this one per day or one per PERSON for the WHOLE promotion?

I could say “That was my brother yesterday!”?

I suppose if you ask nicely they’d make it an iced choc for you instead, probably little difference in cost so shouldn’t be a hassle! ;)

Thanks! None near me :(

Is the coffee drinkable? Obviously it’s not going to be as good as one from a cafĂ©, but is it OK?

sorry before you do that, it starts tomorrow :)

“Starting tomorrow - all Wild Bean Cafe stores now have Iced Coffee on the menu!”

It was from the Wild Bean Benefits newsletter. Nothing like an individual code or whatever which makes each voucher unique.

From my experience, the coffee is drinkable. Iced coffee makes sense because its easier for them to make it than the coffees which can take the time away from authorising bowsers and people paying for petrol.

Also makes sense for BP to give away coffees. If its good coffee, you will be back. If its not good, then this promotion will cost them lots of future lost sales as many people discover how bad it is.. so I think it must be alright tasting.

there’s a review of some of the Wild Bean cafes in Perth here http://perthhacks.blogspot.com/2009/06/perth-wild-bean-coffe... seems like the quality varies from shop to shop.

If they do, you should check with head office www.wildbeancafe.com and see whether they were really out of order. Sometimes the attendants are just too damn lazy to make a coffee..

So i guess you can just get a few at the Wild Beans. Visit multiple times at different locations. Only if you get the same attendent will you not be able to get a 2nd one.

1 samfisher5986 on 04/11/2009 - 18:10 ¶

In all the free promotions I’ve had, I’ve found its very easy to get a 2nd one in the same day.

The only reason I try to avoid it is because it feels like i’m being too stingy.

The one time I couldn’t resist going more then once a day was the free pies at 7/11 deal :)

went today and grabbed one in camperdown. absolutely terrible, wasnt worth the effort. it was horrible and watered down. tasted like burnt coffee. i guess it depends on who’s making it but the chick had no skills to pay the bills.

1 h4lcyon on 06/11/2009 - 17:12 ¶

Because they use a real shot coffee (like a cafe would), the taste will depend on coffee brewing skills of the person making it.

I don’t think it matters if it is free or not.

If worried about that fact, just ask for a regular iced coffee then pay using the coupon, rather than offering the coupon first.

Excellent.
I got one for my wife yesterday, the girl was happy to make the coffee.
I went to the same BP today and different girl made to me with no problem although she seems have never heard of this coupon before, but she also was happy to do that. She let me tried it first to tell her if the coffee she made was good. I told her it’s tasty.
I am very happy with that.

I had one on friday, was pretty good considering i had it made on skim milk cause i’m on a diet (i obviously took that in to account in my opinion of it). No cream, thankfully.

I found i needed to add some extra sweetness to it after the first half. The sugar syrup stayed towards the bottom, so i would sip the bottom and then the middle/top to mix it up.
Then i added 1/2 a sachet of splenda after half way through.

Will be getting another one tomorrow, or 2!

Got the free coffee without much hassle, but they tried to charge me 60 cents for the syrup. This was at Church Street, Parramatta. The cashier asked the other assistant “can you make another iced coffee”, sounds like lots of people have been there lately.

The girl made coffee to me with full cream milk and press the sugar syrup 3 times, I think she based on the recipe.
I think ‘2 syrup’ for me is sweet enough.

Ive had 4 freebies and counting.. I usually buy one of these on my way from the Gold Coast to Brisbane 2 days a week anyway so Im loving this deal.

I printed the vouchers “4 up” on an A4 page and cut them out, to save toner and space in my wallet, and they scan OK.

Gravatar
0 vote
Josh81 on 11/11/2009 - 03:56 ¶

Yeah i printed some 4 per page too.

Although i’ve decided against getting anymore because of the high calories from the sugar. I might go in and ask if they can make it with no sugar syrup, and then i can add my own artificial sweetner. Plus get skim milk obviously.
