It was a practical joke that people liked, so a game it became.
And it was more played than Watch Dogs on steam for the next 6 months, including DURING Watch Dogs release week. True fact, I was watching the statistics. It's both amazing and pathetic. Poor Ubisoft. Outdone by a floppy-tongue goat.

Haha, this game was actually released April 1st last year. Like others have said, this was a joke that turned into quite a successful game. There is even an MMO side to it now.

Doesn't really seem like a very good deal. Regularly see it for $5.00 - $8.00 from more reputable sources and directly on the Steam store. Currently 7.99 on GMG with 20OFFM-ATTHEW-HATTON and that's the only site I checked. Sorry but this seems like mere spam to promo his site rather than a deal worthy of note.
