So I have a late 2012 iMac 13.2 27". Wanting to upgrade the ram. I have 16gb of pc1066 ddr3 sodium. Specs say that it has pc1600. Will the 1066 still work in there just at a slower speed?

No, sorry. Macs are quite picky with ram.
