  No, power is different.
  Sphere is the size of contact (width I think?)
  
  FYI, contact lenses prescription is generally different to spectacles prescription.

    Sphere is same as power. Diameter is the "width" of the lens.
    If you don't have a specific prescription for contact lenses then please see your optometrist for one.

  Haha I need normal for my left and astigmatism for my right (Acuvue Oasys), so I figured if I buy 2 normal and 1 astigmatism, and 2 astigmatism and 1 normal in 2 transactions, it comes to $140 for 3 boxes for each eye.
  
  When they had a 50% off deal + shipping, 3 boxes for each eye would come to $135. Not too much of a difference!

    so three is $93
    
    just change it to $33 a box for today.
    
    otherwise $73 for 4 boxes is not as good of a deal

  Yeah I'm in the same boat with the fortnightly torics. 2 boxes fall $1 short of $99. I've purchased three boxes during these sales before but have figured that I can get better deals at other sales because of 2 boxes being $1 too low to qualify.
  
  If you could make it, say save $95 off $190+ purchase I'd buy four boxes.. Or just make each box of contacts $1 more. Or even 40% off orders between $100-200.
  
  Obviously you can't tailor your deals to suit everyone but yeah this deal works out a lot better for some than others. Still appreciate you posting deals here even if they don't suit me specifically.

  Really depends on your cover and choice of extras cover / if it includes optical etc. I would expect you'll be able to claim contact lenses on your cover if you have the right bells and whistles with it… a quick call to nib would clear that up.

unfortunately they can't cancel the order. but they can offer you 50 dollars back.

if you have 2 orders, you'll get refund 50 back for the first order. the second order will just get send to you and once arrived, you'll just return the item and get refunded.

Acuvue TrueEye blur all the time…

bah, thought it was just me (then I checked other online reviews).

Anyone have suggestions for another brand/make for a person with dryish eyes? Have only ever used TruEyes (first contacts about two months ago)

  I also started noticing this on my Acuvue dailies. I have switched to Proclear - fantastic - just as comfortable, and crystal clear.
  The easyvision generic brand is awful - not sure if I am allergic to a preservative, but they irritate the hell out of my eyes - cannot keep them on. They are definitely not a rebranded product - something is different in them.

    Bought a box of Proclear to try, apparently only ones the US FDA said was 'may be more comfortable'.
    
    During my trial with specsaver, the opt put in the contacts, had a look at my eyes and said 'nup' and waited another two weeks for the TruEye lol
    
    Do you still remember which easyvision you used? There is many types, confusing names. Re-brand of diff companies?

  I had the exact same problem with the trueyes. Took forever to figure out what was going on and persevered through many many batches of them. Am now using specsavers easyvision linarial (rebranded coopervision myday). Super comfortable. Even better than the trueyes.

I have been using airoptix night and day monthly lenses with 13.8 Diam and 8.6 BC. from specsavers

I want to get some fortnightly lenses, as i'd like to change them over more often. I have been told that acuvue oasis are a good fortnightly model - it looks like they are 14.0 diam and 8.4/8.8 BC it would seem that the 8.8 base curve would be the better size to choose as a slightly looser fit is better than one that is too tight

anyone else moved from monthly lenses to fortnightly ?

i only wear them during the day
