[Android] FREE: Fleksy Keyboard for Android Full Version on Google Play Store, RRP $2.48

770

This has been available before from Amazon app store but if you have not gotten the full version of Fleksy keyboard then you can get it now since it will be free for a week. I think it's a great keyboard, especially the function to swipe to delete. Very convenient. Enjoy.

Good keyboard. I just started using Minuum and it's the best keyboard I've used thus far. Very accurate with sloppy typing.

    • I have never used Minuum before. It looks good but I wish it would be free, haha. Have never seen Minuum for free before other than trial version.

      • I'm actually just using the trial at the moment, it's 30 days so after that I'll probably purchase it. It is a bit expensive for a keyboard though!

    • +2

I'm loving Minuum. Prefer to extend the keyboard up to full size though

When you say free for a week - does that mean the deal is available for a week; but if you get it - you have the keyboard for ever

Or does it mean that the full featured keyboard is available to use for a week (like a trial)?

    • +3

The deal is available for a week; but if you get it - you have the keyboard forever. It is not a trial.

  • +2

Purchased but probably won't ever use it since im happy with Swiftkey.

  • It's very apple-esque, I'm no fan of not having punctuation on the keyboard. I'll stick with swiftkey

    • +2

Minimalism to an extent that some of the practicality gets sacrificed for that minimalism? Nonsense, Apple would never do anything like that.

You simply don't need those punctuation keys, just like how you only need one port for display, peripheral, charging, ethernet and everything :)

From my brief usage I thought the keyboard was very neat, though I cannot use it as my main keyboard sicne one of the language that I frequently use is not available as an option at the moment :(

  • Handwriting support?

  • Shows $2.48 for full version on Google Play!

Look cool with the themes and all.

Basic colour theme is free but anything more cost money…… And a lot of it.

  • Can anyone recommend good keyboards for Japanese and Chinese other than google's keyboards?

      I use Swype

      • I used to use that but it became so slow and gave it away. Will give it another try on my newer phone, cheers.

        • I've never noticed Swype as being slow although granted I did use it years ago and then fairly recently again meaning the +Dragon versions.

        • I used to use it also.

          The early/beta versions were fantastic.

All the later versions seem to cause me to drain battery through - doesn't happen all the time, just every day or 2 i'll notice it start killing battery. For that reason i've changed.

        • @Diji1: there were a lot of people complaining about the slow downs in one of the posts here when it was a deal somewhere I thought.

I found that it just couldn't keep up with swiping like the default AOSP one can and sometimes would almost lock up the phone while trying to work out what the word was that I was trying to toe but this happened after a few months of solid use and I guess it has something to do with it having more days on how I type.

As I said I'll give it another go, I have a more powerful phone now so it may be better.

Haven't tried this app specifically but I'm really, really impressed with Swipe+Dragon on my Android phablet - not saying it isn't as good but it would have to be very good to beat it. The text prediction is just amazing: after using Google (Android) keyboard, Samsung's … whatever app that is (probably 5 keyboard apps by now right?), Xperia Keyboard, Swiftkey and Perfect Keyboard what really held me back at first was expecting the text prediction to not work with "Swype" style text input. After you get used to being able to input so fast it's … streets ahead.

Once I got used to the idea that it would predict so well with seemingly random all over the place input (as fast as possible) it is undoubtedly the fastest keyboard for everyday use (for me in any case).

Also I haven't tried it yet but Google's new handwriting recognition is supposed to be extremely accurate as well (if you use a stylus of course).

  • Been using it for a while and really im not that convinced by it. Looks fancy but yeh not anything any other keyboard can do.

  • No option to upgrade for free to full version in Australia?

    Sorry for a dummy question.

I downloaded the free version and installed on my phone.

As far as I can tell, I am already signed into their cloud service (i.e. sync with my gmail address)

But I don't see any option to upgrade for free to full version.

Nothing like the picture shown here

    Please advise. Thanks a million.

After uninstalling and reinstalling it again, I have finally found the option to upgrade for free.

After you have installed, skip the tutorial , and then when you get to the home page, you will see an option to upgrade for free, as shown in the picture here

      http://phandroid.com/2015/04/30/flesky-free-keyboard-unlock-…

These people don't make it easy for dummies to upgrade for free.

      • Tried it for 5 minutes.

No idea where that fastest typing keyboard title come from.

I will stick with my faster Swype + Dragon.

  • Got a good feel of it and uninstalled. Installed Google Swype keyboard and feels a lot better and gets the words right all the time.

  • It's not showing free for me is this still going?
