Nespresso Inissia + Milk Frother $94 (after $50 Cashback) - Harvey Norman

650

Long time bargainer, first time poster.
Seems to be a good deal for this, a few dollars cheaper than last posted at The Good Guys. The special is limited to the Blueberry colour it seems, but it looks alright to me.

Featuring flow stop, auto off and fast heat up technology, the Nespresso Inissia Capsule Coffee Machine lets you enjoy great tasting coffee at the touch of a button. Create lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites and more with the included milk frother.

Key Features

Easy-to-use, the Nespresso Inissia Capsule Coffee Machine allows you to create great tasting coffee simply by inserting a capsule and pressing a button. Used capsules are stored in a removable container to facilitate cleaning.
Flow stop – the Nespresso Inissia allows you to set your preferred coffee length and the machine will automatically stop brewing when your coffee reaches the desired level.
Featuring improved thermoblock heating technology, the Nespresso Inissia Capsule Coffee Machine is ready to brew coffee in just 25 seconds.
Peace of mind – the Nespresso Inissia Capsule Coffee Machine will automatically power down after nine minutes of inactivity.
Compact and striking, the Nespresso Inissia will complement the decor in any kitchen without monopolising counter space.

Wow good deal! I got one from the good guys, this is even cheaper. I am very happy with mine.

  • For those not worried about a milk frother and prefer a simpler colour, the Black U-Solo is only $4 more.
With $50 cashback and $5 joining credit, brings it down to $93!

    The machine may be cheap…

The capsules aren't :) Well no capsules are..

    • +2

The capsules are not that expensive. Recycling them is a bigger issue.

      • +2

They now have a network of recycling points, not just at the stores. Which reminds me I should try it out instead of hoarding capsules until my next trip to the store.

        • I heard that some pods can't be recycled. The ones with aluminium coating on the inside of he plastic.

        • All nespresso pods are made the same from what Ive seen of years of use, so they should all be recyclable.

If anyone is looking for a coffee machine I have a code which allows you to get the Nescafe Dolce Gusto Mini Me online for $55 down from $120. The main difference between the machines is the capsules, Dolce Gusto ones are larger and are more inclusive, for example Lattes have a milk capsule and a coffee capsule. PM me for the code because I'm pretty sure I can't post it straight up on the forum

    • +4

And you forgot to mention the Dolce Gusto tastes like "crap". At least with Nespresso it tastes pretty good.

      • Have to agree. We got a Dolce Gusto for Xmas one year and kept on trying different capsules (even the iced tea ones you could get), and they all tasted pretty bad.

        • Yeah the tea ones aren't great but the hot chocolate, mocha, lungo and americano are all winners. Admittedly the cappuccino is a bit sweet for my taste but I wouldn't call it awful

    • +1

If you love the Dolce Gusto machine, I'll sell you mine for $20. Having used both nespresso and nescafe, I prefer the nespresso more for the taste, varieties and service.

  • Good deal OP! The aeroccino 3 alone is worth $80.

  • thanks OP! missed out on the previous deal from TGG and this one is even better! remember to use the $5 welcome code by signing up to HN newsletter

    • all good until i received the coffee machine today, only to find the 16 free pods in the box have expired! (mfg 04/14, exp 02/15)

      • Oh … call Nespresso they will give you replacement as I heard before.

Seem like nobody buy their machine without cash back until they have the cash back again the pods already expired.

        • thanks for the tip. i'll definitely give these guys a call. but yeah, the machine i got has probably been on the shelves for awhile.

Devastated. Got one from TGG a few weeks ago. Breaks my bargain heart
    RIP $5
    </3

    • I did the same. But my wife and I sat down and worked out the number of Cafe coffees we have saved between last week and now, and the nespresso has already paid off the $5 :)

  • Wow, you can claim upto 5 machines per household. I am going to buy 5 and give it away to my customers as a gift!

    • just be careful if you read the fine print. yes 5 machines per household but only 1 of the same machine.

if you submit 2 machines which are the same and the same household could be denied on the 2nd one

      • awww I haven't put the order in yet as I couldn't pick up from the stores.
        Thanks for your valuable comment.

  • I cant do any store pick ups…

  • Can anyone comment on how well Kmart's $30 milk frother works?

  • Just bought one today, in my opinion it's really good for $94. Easy to clean and you can get a coffee ready in a minute.

  • How does the $50 cash back work?

  • +2

Bought at Good Guys (Gepps Cross, SA) for full $199 price. Took back 2 minutes later for price match guarantee (120% of the difference refunded). $83.20 after cash back… (and got the black one, as they price matched the model).

Ordered one for store pick-up on Friday, still processing, Monday is only hours away.
They have shockingly bad customer service; i used their online chat to find out about the progress, gave her my order confirmation number, and she copied and pasted some random guy's details (full name, phone numbers and address), and asked if it was me. I feel very uncomfortable as to how they handle customers' information.
Wish Dominos handle their store pick-up order instead.

And, thanks for sharing this info.

  • For anyone interest you can get compatible pods for cheaper.

    • +1

Vittoria pods taste like crap. Having tried all the compatible out there, I find Coles brand and LOR most decent!

      • I still find that the original nespresso is the best.

Vittoria from Cafe is OK so just want to try how they are with Nespresso, never try Vittoria on other pods system.

        • Of course Nespresso still the best imo, I was only just comparing the compatible pods. Vittoria by far the worst!

  • has this expired or am I missing something? shows $188 on website and $138 after cashback…

  • +1

Think its expired - tried a few times yesterday. Eventually it showed stock only at Chadstone but was unable to purchase on line. My own fault, he who hesitates….

  • Anyone else having problems with the online form? I get to the screen to upload the reciept, fill in everything, but how do I get to the next stage?

Edit - never mind - the receipt scan was over the allowed size, fixed it and the button to proceed appeared.
