St Helena Island (Brisbane, QLD) Cruise with Picnic Lunch $39 Each (Normal $79) @ Living Social

90

I've taken this tour once before and really enjoyed it - I think $39 is a great price for a 4-5 hour cruise/tour experience - you can pay this much for a simple river cruise. I noticed this deal while looking into options for some friends visiting Brisbane. You get the Moreton Bay cruise, a guided tour run by actors who make the whole thing very entertaining and a good lunch. The cruise has a 4.5 star rating on Trip Advisor with over 130 reviews, which is a fair rating based on my experience.

"You'll glide over the pristine waters of Moreton Bay in a 55-foot catamaran before stepping onto the grassy slopes of St Helena Island. Home to a colonial prison, you'll take a guided tour of this breathtakingly beautiful island with a running commentary about its old inhabitants. After, you'll enjoy a hearty and belly-filling picnic lunch in the Superintendent's Gardens while admiring the rolling hills, antique cannons and architecture." From operators' website.

I have always had good outcomes with Living Social deals, but like all group buying sites feedback is mixed - please check the LS website for specific conditions. Voucher needs to be used by August 23. Trips to be taken on Wednesday or Sunday - other days please contact the operators - https://sthelenaisland.rezdy.com/

This is my referral code - https://www.livingsocial.com/deals/1454626-st-helena-island-…

Living Social's normal condition of a free deal for me if I refer three purchasers. Thanks to anyone who uses the referral.

I've been on this tour too (also $39 via Our Deal) and I really enjoyed it. The actors made the tour entertaining by acting out the historical events. I learned some interesting facts about the local islands and surrounds as well.

How many primary school excursions to St Helena Island did I have? This brings back memories.
