that's been the cause of death for all my earphones that have died lol.
i've figured that it's either the weak wire near the jack or way up near the earphone itself that gave up. i suppose one could try stripping back the cable plastic to find where the wire broke but it honestly isn't worth it.
Yeah, I've bought a few pairs of these before, they all lost sound in one ear within a month.

I used it, the same thing happened with the replacements. I probably could have kept replacing them with new ones until the year was up, but it was easier to just buy better headphones.
