Was trying to shop for a battery for car remote, saw Energizer 12V Alkaline battery A23 for $1.81 at DSE!
More expensive everywhere else!

  Anyone know how long these should last unused (expiry date)?

  I have 5 unused a23 & 1 in use, that came with 3 Swann wireless door chimes I bought on sale nearly 3 years ago ($16 @DS for 3).
  (3 chimes around the house operate off 1 door button, operating on 1 a23)

  At this price, I'll buy a replacement.

  Total cost 60c ;-)

  If you have discounted Woolies cards, those should work.

      you're welcome, however I can't see where i said that GP is energiser. The deal expired and I gave people a cheaper alternative.

        Not the experience I've had. My doorbell remotes come with GP and I'm lucky to get 6-8 months. The energizers last around double that.
