Worth giving a shot for $25. I just need to use it on one rear quarter panel…
What's wrong the panel? Just swirling? You may as well try hand polishing with a mf applicator and a tube of meguires swirl remover.
Just for comparison I use a 900w random orbit with a 150mm plate, that just has enough power to cut hard paints like Lexus or Mercs. With other paint types I may just get away with a unit half the power. With this unit you'd be wasting your money and time unfortunately.
agree wasting your money wouldn't even use it as it will ruin the paint job more..

Ruined paint usually only happens with poor prep, this machine would likely do nothing to the paintwork as its way underpowered for any sort of heavy cutting. When you start to get into fixed rotation buffers then you need to be careful.
I've bought similar one before from super cheap before I bought a professional FLEX orbital polisher, it actually created more swirl marks, than it removed.
Stay away, you have been warned, but if you want to go for it go ahead.
They are alright, I have one I bought previously, used about twice, will it go for $20 if anyone missed out on this deal.
Do yourself a favour and give it a skip, a 240mm plate is huge and would need a lot more power for any decent paint correction job. It's more an applicator than a polisher.
