been checking the codes with items I want, no luck, DICKOYAL!

    These dicks ain't loyal.

How often do they have coupon codes including items people actually want to order?

    • It's like a treasure hunt! Come on, we all like hunting for bargains on Ozbargain right?

Here we go, I'll start with this:

Sony SRS-X5 Portable Wireless Speaker (Black) for $174 click & collect: http://www.dicksmith.com.au/sony-portable-wireless-speaker-d…

I bought two X3s in a previous Dick Smith ebay sale for $68.26 each (click & collect). Damn good portable speakers for the size and price. I expect the X5 will be even better and I have read good feedback about them (i.e. arguably better than the Bose Soundlink Mini).

      • I paid $175 for the x5 nearly a year ago. Not a huge difference between the x3 and x5 surprisingly. Just increased battery life and better base output. x3s were a steal at that price, sonys sound quality and bass output are great!

Cheap TV. Apply royal90 code brings it to $505 for a 54.5"

      yeah I bought one … I reckon that's a pretty good price $509 pickup for a 54.5 inch set

  • Got this "Coupon code "ROYAL50" is not valid." error. Not happy Jan!

  • Look at the tag it's Dick Smith Dicks Smith now.

  • Geez that is a long list of exclusions.

I give up with these offers. I tried royal120 with a $1k+ Samsung TV and it's not valid.
This is about the fourth coupon I've tried for various items and it has failed every time.

I would rather see these tri-weekly 2 day sales either not advertised here, or only if there is a specific item on sale that makes it worth it.
OzBargain is not a DSE generic advertising platform.

Yeah I wonder sometimes why people keep uploading these discount coupons when the list of exclusions is out of control. DSE really needs to overhaul its coupons to remain competitive.

Well, all I can say is, watch this from 19:30

    • Is it to be valid only on 7th June, Sunday ?

  • Any good deal on a good modem router

  • Sounds like everyone is getting royally dick'd.

    • Yes, Trickie Dickie is giving everyone the royal sceptre (shaft) as usual

  • Finally my local store has stock of the harmony smart remote hub. $74 after discount but extremely limited stock.
