$27 All You Can Eat Pork Ribs (Tuesdays Only) Waterfront Grill NSW

710

Every Tuesday at the Waterfront Grill (Darling Harbour) is all you can eat pork ribs.. In the past when i have gone, you receive chips and ribs on a plate. Salads and drinks are at your own extra cost.

So for $27 dollars and also on a Tuesday night, i think this deal is better than the TGI fridays $25 beef ribs deal —-> https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/197664

Edit: Price off the menu on other days of the week.
Pork Ribs
Waterfront’s famous pork ribs basted in our special sauce.
Half rack $24
Full rack $41

EDIT: PillowDefender:
Hey guys. Just been here thanks to OP. Was nice. No issues getting a new rack, intact the staff asked us when it looked like we were coming to the end of the rack they asked if we wanted another.

I'll do a proper review when I get home. Here is a pic, large avent baby bottle for scale.

No time limit from our experience and also no limit on as many racks you request. You don't have to eat the chips to get a new plate.

  • Seriously how much ribs can you eat.

    • +9

usually depends on how good they taste.

    • +1

Up to 4 litres for the average adult.

    • i think i can eat one full rack and maybe one more ribs thats all.
depends how big is the ribs.
hurricanes are bigger than pancake the rocks

      • +4

pancake the rocks also tastes like they have pulled them out of the rubbish bin

        • +3

You eat stuff pulled out of the bin?

        • +2

          @inasero:
i have OzBargain to thank, otherwise id be homeless again

        • +10

at panckace, try order BEEF ribs not pork. they are yummy.
for pork, go to meat n wine, hurricane, ribs n rump

        • +1

          @ tuzii. Can confirm

        • @erwinsie:

Yup I always get beef ribs @ Pancakes, they are crazy good… meat just melts off the bone… salivating just at the thought of them

    • +11

      3 and a half racks.

I read "All You Can Eat Pork Ribs" got excited, then "NSW".
I have asked for compassionate leave to go home early. Damn you Perth.

    • Skip the Chips for more ribs. The ribs are delicious, the beer is overpriced and not sold in kegs like they used to, but it's a pretty amazing deal to do once in a while.

  • +5

Damn. All you can eat ribs, you say? That is possibly the five most beautiful words in all the English language.
Lucky I live in Perth, I'd go all Homer Simpson on them; they'd have no choice but to change their policy.

    • +1

You mean "pity" we live in Perth?

      • +1

Pity for us, lucky for them.

  • +2

    challenge accepted

  • Will need to remember thus place when up in Sydney next. Love ribs

  • anyone care to comment on how do these compare with Hurricanes ribs?

    • +1

Haven't tasted Hurricanes but i can say these were very well worth the money

    • +1

As far as Darling Harbour is concerned..

Meat and Wine Co. > Hurricanes > Waterfront Grill > Hard Rock > Meat District Co.

They're still pretty good though, especially when it's all you can eat…

      • +1

How about everywhere else in Sydney? Ive had the ribs at Hurricanes and they were incredible. Keen to try Meat and Wine Co now.

    • I have only eaten Hurricane Grills ribs. Love their pork ribs.

  • +5

    ozBargain meetup!

    • Good idea dude.

  • I've eaten here before with friends

They serve you half racks at a time with a side of chips (they're only there to fill you up)
Service was great, it was kinda awkward to continuously ask for ribs but for $27, it's really worth it.

    • do we need to finish the chips? any penalty if not eat the chips at all?

      • +4

Feed them to the pigeons outside. Sneakily.

      • +2

nope, you could leave the chips alone if you like, no penalties :D

        • +6

"Hold the chips, I'm watching my weight"

      • +1

went to my local bbq joint place, just not remembering the name says it all lol
anyway it was all you can pork ribs which i thought ,, awesome bring it on

and they bloody give a mountain of chips on the side which you need to bloody finish before ordering more pork ribs

suffice to say that after eating all the chips and ribs, i couldn't handle ordering more pork ribs
        sly huh

        • This place doesn't need you to finish the chips though :D

        • @rickyygee:

          then very tempting :)

  • +2

See you all there next Tuesday!

    • Cool

  • Just went there yesterday. they lessened on their chip portions which is good but at the same time, so did the ribs. Delicious as they are, they becoming sickening after 2 plates

Now we just need a ribs deal on the Gold Coast. I'm holidaying there in a month.

    • That would make living on the GC quite bearable indeed!

    • +1

Mike's Kitchen has hands down some of the best ribs in Australia. Beats Meat N Wine and Hurricanes easy. A little effort to get to but well worth it.

About $55 lands you a 300gram rib eye, chips, and 500 grams of ribs. Not cheap but amazing value.

      • +1

Chef Mike otherwise known as the microwave, cooks everything there though.

        • Haha hello Gordon

  • my mouth is watering!

    • Tell me about it, I have saliva drooling on my keyboard as I type XD

  • +2

Salads and drinks are at your own extra cost.

You don't win friends with salad! You don't win friends with salad!

    • touche

  • Am wondering whether we need to finish the chips too?

Might take my 2m tall friend over next Tuesday. :p

  • Need to try this. Thx OP. Hurricanes ribs are great. Hope this one don't disappoint

Another tip: sign up at the waterfront grill website to get a free main on your birthday "voucher"!
Then go on a Tuesday, and get the unlimited ribs and get a free main for another mate of yours (so pretty much $27 for all you can eat ribs for 2 people)

    • Won't they check your birthday ?

      • Find a friend who's birthday is Tuesday. Facebook is finally useful for something!

  • Is it time limited? A lot of the all you can eat deal i've been to is limited to something like 2 hours..

    • +1

After next Tuesday it will be pulled from promotion. Then they will blame the Professionals.

      • where did you get this information from?

        • Gerry.

    • nope, i stayed there chatting for around three hours, and this isn't really a promotion, it's just it's normal menu so it'll always be around.

  • waterfront has had this deal for years. its good stuff

  • If this promotion has been happening for years, does it belong here as a 'bargain'?

    • Yes

    • A lot of restaurants have promotions on their slow nights, in cockle bay alone you have all you can eat pasta, all you can eat mussels and all you can eat pizza that I know of, probably more. But I see your point, if this is the price every Tuesday, is it really a bargain?

Tuesday is Schnitzel night at local RSL so tough decision for me in any case

  • ALL YOU CAN EAT RIBS !!!! ALL !!!

Someone on the Waterfront Grill's Facebook, back in 2013, posted:

"The food was good but I will not be going back here again as the food took far too long and we went there for "All you can eat ribs" and after two plates I was told its a maximum of two plates, false advertising and I left hungry as I was expecting all you can eat."

    HmmmmmmMMMMMMmmmmmm.

    • +1

didn't happen to me, i went late last year/earlier this year. No it was all you can eat
