Tips:

  • Use "add to basket" if you are buying more than one item to minimise the number of times you use this coupon, while ensuring your basket holds less than $1,500 of items to avoid the $300 cap.
  • Do your research first. Some retailers/items may be overpriced, certain items will be cheaper elsewhere even without the 20% off.
  • As always don't forget 2% cash back from Cash Rewards. Help
  • Dick Smith is having their own sale on their site. It's always best to compare the prices between DSE eBay and the DSE website.

        • Had quick look, only thing that turned up was this Samsung 50", which after the 20% off would come down to $876.

        • @WoodenSpoon: I'm no TV expert but that's only 50hz. I figured it should be at least 100hz these days, especially when paying that much.

        • @bargainist:
I figured that as well, but for sub 1k its not easy to find a name brand T.V. that's >50" and is 100hz (or more)

Wouldn't have this problem if Plasma was still around.

I purchased 2 x Seagate Barracuda hard drives from Futu Online last week with the UK 20% off deal. They were $149 each then before discount. Now up to $166.10.

  • +3

If only PCCG was part of this deal like the other 20% off. Man 20% off a high end GPU woulda been amazing. Hopefully the code ends up working with all ebay sellers like the last one.

  • anyone have experience buying PC parts via Kogan? I dont mind the wait for parts shipped via HK.

    • I find Kogan fine. Although I am not obsessed about warranties, like many people are these days. Expect zero customer service (don't change your mind about anything, just buy the product) and Kogan is great. Last time I got some stuff, delivery took 5 days from HK.

    • Check warranty, varies for each item. looking for gfx card myself.. but other site is all expensive

  • Lets see how low the new gen mobiles goes?

Guys and Girls, do not forget the 2% from Cash Rewards.

  • Yayyyyy (prays for another Note 4 sale at DSE)

  • Cheapest Chromecast?
    Best 250gb SSD deal?

  • ok, good price on TVs…

  • +4

3 days before we even see if there is a decent deal and close to 300+ votes. Hold your horses!

    • Was just about to say the same thing.

    • +4

The last month or so was pretty quiet so I think everyone's ready to spend some cash:)

  • +2

    where's the bicycle shop deals?

  • +7

If this deal is unconfirmed, shouldn't it live in the forums until it's confirmed?

  • $300 cap is a bit generous. It's more than the usual $100 or $200 cap. I hope this is real.

  • +2

Post any SSD deals if there are any

  • Damn it. This starts right after the $50 eBay voucher deal ends!

The latter is effectively better since $50 for $200 is 25% off whereas this is just 20%.

    • +1

      Depends what you're buying….$50 off $1500 is 3.33%.

      • Don't think you read proper

        • +3

Explain? I wanna buy a $1500 laptop, how is $50 better than $300?

        • +2

@mtran0708: his saying if your only gonna spend 200$ the 50$ voucher option is better since its 25% ofc the 20% off will be better if your spending a higher amount

    • +5

I saw it as $50 off a $250 dollar purchase since you are required to spend a minimum of $200 + $50 (that's the voucher).
This makes the voucher offer 20% off max ($50 off $250)

      • +1

You're right. The $50 voucher deal is only 20% now that we can no longer stack them.

    • Nope. You're still spending $200 for $250 either way. The 20% also scales for purchases more or less than $200 and doesn't require looking for stuff in July.

  • +2

If it's unconfirmed why is it even up. I don't understand why it can;'t be posted when it is confirmed and when there are more details.

    • +1

I agree, should be a forum post if not confirmed yet as a deal.

    • +2

To get you ready and start searching for deals and add them to your cart so that the moment it's live, you can snap it up before someone else beats you to it?

      • +1

Yes, but for all we know this may not even be a real deal, especially considering OP only joined 2 hours ago. As with past eBay deals, they have been announced officially before they go live.

        • There's still time for them to officially do that.

Take a chance that it's real and start shopping early, vs everything gets ozbargained because you were cautious and you miss out on some great bargains.

        • @lostn:
I like that it's up on the front page just in case it's legit, but this many positive votes before we have any proof is a bit much..

        • @Adamiam: People don't have to upvote it.. I haven't.

  • nevermind, no MX Master sales.

  • planning to get an xbox one from Target…
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Xbox-One-Assassins-Creed-500G…

    is this a good deal?

    • Once the code takes effect it's just about on par with anything else that's been offered. It's not the kind of bargain that would make me buy one if I wasn't already looking, but if you've got plans to buy soon anyway then I think it's a good deal:).

      • thanks, was really looking to get one for my son…

    • Just factor in their exceptionally slow shipping, even for click and collect that has to ship the item to a store. If you can find similar actually in a retailer I'd just go buy it

      • thanks…that would be an issue indeed, especially if it takes more than seven days…was planning to have the kids use it during the holidays..

        • +1

Depends where I guess. It took hem 7 working days to get a Wii from the Melbourne warehouse to the Brisbane store. Would have been 8 but I made the Brisbane store go to their dock and get it since I had delivery confirmation even though it wasn't in their system yet

  • How about Nokia Lumia 930 or 1520

  • +3

Target haven't restocked their ebay store with splatoon Wii U's, doesn't look like any of them have it. The wait for the illusive sub-$300 Wii U continues. :(

    • Yeah, was planning to get that bundle for about $230 but it seems Target don't have anymore stock and the $50 voucher deal expires before then.

    • Under $300, are you serious? We've had a couple of sales now under for $197… in NZ.

Nevermind, I see you mean the bundle.

  • If I bought a Nikon DSLR with this deal, will I still be able to claim a cashback from Nikon?

    • +2

If its AU stock i don't see why not!

  • Don't hold your breath, it could be a joke post until it is confirmed.

  • -1

when deal will start? :( 26/06??

The coupon code can't be used for your purchase
This voucher code is not yet ready for use. Please try again later.

  • Watch out for price hikes…

    Futu Online / Netgear R7000 Was: $192 a month ago … Now: $209

Was $159 in the last CTECH20 deal

    • Waiting for your next dick Smith MEGA LIST

      • Just dick smith?

    • Futu is a rip off.
      Look at Kogan.

      • Did you include shipping?

  • -3

does this stack with the hump month 50 dollar promotion if we spent more than 200? Thanks

    • +2

The previous 20% eBay coupon did but this one is set to start only once the $50 voucher deal ends.

  • +1

    Happy June's fool everyone! lol

    • +2

Yeah definitely sus on this until it's confirmed

      • +6

Should probably have held off on the positive vote then?

  • +4

seriously..is there a bot or something…so much + with no real deal ..even the last one wasn't this crazy O.o

    • +2

The +ve is to make sure eBay makes it happen.

    • 400 odd + and 7000 clicks for an unconfirmed deal…

    • +2

The last one was for every ebay seller and world wide (by accident maybe though), this one seems to be just specific to major retail stores that ebay seems to be trying to push lately. It also falls between the end of the $50 coupon gift and beginning of the coupon redeem date. Also lines up with all the EOFY sales. So this does seem believable. Preferred the other deal though since it was literally anything on ebay and i don't see myself spending more than $500 on stuff i don't really need or want.

  • No teds cameras ;-( I got a nice camera with one of the recent deals CTECH20 - even though they jacked their price to $10 over RRP, it was still a great and unrepeated bargain. My dad wants one and I have been looking out ever since without luck.

    • I have been doing the same thing 3 times a day since that deal. I am ready to give up, i can't see us getting anywhere near those prices again :(

  • +7

    Looks dodgy
over 400+ for an unconfirmed deal.
new account made only hours ago

Not getting my +1 till there is a real deal.

  • +2

I can believe it. It makes sense.
Looks like it's gonna work in the little gap of time between the $200 spend promo, and when we receive our $50 vouchers.

  • c'mon eBay, it's about time you confirm this deal…

  • 470+ positive votes for an unconfirmed deal? Dayum.

  • Any recommendation for GPS? cheers.

  • any recommendations on car dash cams?

  • Does this sale include any fridges?

  • all i want: charge hr + ssd (128 or 256gb) + mx master!!

  • Holly Molly! This is not good!

  • Now what to buy…

  • I'm looking for a mobile but to claim TRS at airport . Can I only buy through dick Smith , good guys and Bing Lee?

    • No, anywhere that gives you an invoice + charges GST will work - but the coupon supposedly only works with the stores listed above.

      • I only meant through this deal only.these are the only retailers that are Australian .
        Kogan won't work right ?

        • Nope, Kogan sources their phones from overseas

        • @IceyChow2000: If they charge GST, it should work? Only if there is a GST component can you claim it on TRS.

  • +1

pretty big thread for a deal that may or may not be real

  • +4

This is very suspicious. New account made just hours ago.
Even the username looks like hes fingers fell on the keyboard.

I thought mods didn't let new account submit deals to prevent this fake crap from happening

    • Probably an existing known associated account that wants his/her leak of this deal to be anonymous, it sounds like he/she made contact with mods first.

  • +1

Hopefully this unconfirmed will end up with 20% everything on eBay :)

  • Tried to check out and it says:

The coupon code can't be used for your purchase
    - This voucher code is not yet ready for use. Please try again later.

    WUT?

    • +1

      Starts 7am June 26

      • Massive case of impulse buy lol, I'll wait

        Thanks for pointing it out

    • SMH…

  • +1

I am after iphone 6 with 64 GB. But Kogan ebay store has only iphone 6 16GB listed. Is any of the 20 ebay stores listed in this deal offers iphone 6 with 64 GB?

    • same here! and is kogan reliable? but 16gb for 660ish seems like a pretty good deal.

      • Bought an iPad Air 2 from them in an earlier 20% off sale, arrived within a week or so with no troubles so far :D

  • -3

Does any of these shops sell cash?
Would be nice to get a 20% discount off buying some AUD.

    • +1

It's pretty difficult to find a retailer who will stock cash for sale. The profit margins are literally 0%.

  • Been chasing a Nikon d610 + nikkor af-s 50mm 1.8g

Teds camera had this combo for 2000 + 20 percent off via the CTECH20 (400 off plus 100 cash back)

Can't even remotely get close to this even with grey imports now. Kogan is sticking the camera body but their price is massively inflated. (Grey price is 1400 / local price is 1700 / Kogan is 1800)

Even if this new deal does ring true, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any savings for those chasing cameras :(

    • Yes, that was a sweet deal. $2000-$400 ebay-100 cash back Nikon. I could have gotten 10% GST back on the whole $2000 but the TRS lads changed the GST claiming procedure again so did not have enough time at the airport and missed out on that.

  • Yeh this seems a bit suspicious.. There is a slight chance it is real.. because its EOFY but also a bit strange considering already have a deal right now.
