EDIT : Price went back up to what it was around to begin with, so I decided to get the deal expired. It's still at a good price (AUD $26.07) though (cheaper than Australian retailers as far as I know)

EDIT 2: Amazon stopped shipping these internationally :(

USD AUD
Price (Inc Shipping) $17.79 $23.92

AUD conversion was done with Amazon Currency Converter, so it may come out better with other means.
This price is the cheapest it has been since last September according to CamelCamelCamel. Cheaper than the cheapest on staticICE.

Anyways, this headphone frequently appears on recommendations when someone asks for a budget headphone out under $100. I personally think there is some hype on this headphone, but at this price, it's hard to find something that sounds as decent as this one. Other than how uncomfortable it is to use it (the clip requires frequent adjustments until you get it to the position you like), I think it at the very least, worth its price.

You can use it to replace the units of PortaPro (they are interchangable). It's slightly uncomfortable without the headphone band, so many people choose to get a headphone band that KSC-75 units can mount onto i.e. PortaPro headphone band etc.

The headphone pad can get damaged very easily (I've never changed mine, but so I've heard), I'd recommend buying spare pads along with it as well (though if you want to get it from Amazon, you'd need to spend over USD $25).

Still my favourite headphones under $100 by far.

    • Same. I usually try new things out when my headphone/earphone breaks. This + headphone band mod stopped me from doing that (at least on the headphone front, still need to find a decent earphone that's to my taste). Hence why I constantly check the price of this (so that I can stock up just in case).

They are great sounding headphones for the money. I broke mine and won't be getting anymore.:( I already have too many other headphones.

  • Personally I use the Koss Porta-Pro's but these clip-ons are great too. Always amazes how good they sound from the simplest of sources - any phone, player etc.

    • You can change the units from PortaPro with KSC-75 (if your portapro driver breaks). :) The headband is so much better than the clip on style.

Nice, I'll keep that in mind, I have 2 pairs of each :-)

        BTW, great value OP.

Probably personal preference. I've got both. I find that the extra pressure on your ears with the PortaPro gives you more bass. Doesn't suit my taste and/or high-frequency hearing loss. I also find the clip-ons more comfortable. The pair I bought from the last deal happened to fit my ears without any adjustment. Normally you've got to bend the clip to adjust for your ears. +1 to all the comments about the sound-quality. They are fragile though. I've gone through three.

  • i saw someone throwing headphones in the bin just because the clip on the outside broke

had a pair for nearly 10 yrs of 1/month use now…. Still impressive sound quality and still as annoying to put on.

  • Are these any good to wear while sleeping? I tend to listen to audiobooks in bed and frequently pass out with earbuds still in my ears.

They're obviously better than most headphones in terms of comfort lying down, but like most headphones you'd only be able to lie on your back.

  • How do these compare to meelec

  • Does anyone know a convenient/cheap fix if a headphone jack doesn't fit correctly in a phone/player audio jack hole, other than sending them back to Deals Direct/Catch of the Day?

  • I bought these foam cushions for my PortaPros for $1 delivered from AliExpress and took less than 2 weeks to arrive. Currently have the PU leather cushions on them that make them feel a lot more comfortable.

    • What are they PU leather cushions? do you have a link, I don't really like the feel of the stock foam that much

These are the ones I got, I think they'd make the KSC-75s too wide to clip on but work well with PortaPros. These only took 2 weeks to arrive as well but one side didn't quite fit on tight enough and would sometimes come off when I threw it in my bag. A couple of drops of super glue secured it.

  • They been cheaper, but $23 is still a pretty good price. Easily the best cheap headphones you can get, can compare to cans costs up to ~80 bucks

  • Well that sucks, went to order a few of them, put them in the Amazon cart a couple days ago, went to check out today, and they've changed the shipping restrictions so that now they dont ship to Perth. Grrrrr

    • It happened very recently (like I bought these at slightly higher price last friday I think and they got shipped).

      • yup literally in the last 48 hours. Dammnn. Such a good price missed

        • It's back :) (though slightly higher than that price)..
