Lebara Mobile 50% off 30 Day Plans - 1st Month + New Orders Only

30

Just stumbled across this one on the Lebara website.

Lebara Mobile 50% off 30 Day Plans - 1st Month + New Orders Only

Plans discounted:
- Lebara National now $14.95 - 2GB included data (plus 2GB bonus, see below)
- Lebara Mega now $19.95 - 4GB included data (plus 2GB bonus, see below)
- Lebara Unlimited now $24.95 - 2GB included data (plus 2GB bonus, see below)

Bonus 2GB Data for customers who select the Auto-recharge option in their account settings (credit card details required). This looks to be an ongoing monthly data increase, but I'll update once I get onto customer service.

EDIT - After a lovely 15 minutes on hold I finally got through to customer care member Olive, who confirmed that the 2GB bonus data is included for every month that the Auto-recharge option is used. Also Lebara uses both of Vodafone's 3G and 4G networks (I didn't know).
EDIT #2 - Scratch that last. Lebara actually only uses Vodafone's 3G and 3G+ networks. Thanks to TheStahh for pointing this out.

This deal is valid for new online SIM orders only. Delivery is FREE via Australia Registered Post.

Not bad for some of their deals. Need to update with data inclusions next to your pricing

      Thanks Regie - done.

  • These half price off first month deals must work, for the telcos: people must be biting, but for the life of me I can't see why.

Lebara SIM starter pack also 50% off at Australia Post.

    • Haha yes, that post is how I stumbled across this info :)

      • Yes. Maybe a good deal if you want a Lebara starter SIM today instead of waiting for a delivery.

It could be possible that all Lebara SIM starter packs are 50% off at Australia Post not just the $10 one.

  • It's cheap but the service is pathetic, you won't get the 2GB bonus unless you ring them and ask how to get it applied to your account. Takes about 15-20mins to get through. You can experience data black-outs.. Been using it for month now & cannot stand it. Time to move onn

  • Beware of Lebara, they count data usage in 1 MB increments. I got a plan with them for one month and noted my data usage was gone too fast, called and they told me that.

I cancelled the service straightaway. Most other companies count usage in KB increments.

Lebara only uses 3g ? Not 4g as stated.

    • Yes it seems Lebara uses the Vodafone 3G mobile network.

    • Ah yes, I can now see that this is correct. Apologies to anyone looking forward to some 4G-Lebara action. It seems as though Olive has misspoken…
