  The hotel deals are coming late this year - we waited as long as we could and had to book a few days ago. Last year and the year before there were some great deals published in October and November.

  These are good prices. I checked on wotif.com and on one of the hotel's own web sites. Neither could compete with this deal.

  these guys are a bit dodge. Booked a hotel last time from this 72 hour sale and it turned out that reservation never went through (Melbourne Pensione Hotel) eventhough it was initially on their system. I never got notified and their sales assistant wasn't very helpful. They offered me to book the room that I already book in the sale for double the price on that day. I would expect such a big company to book it for me at originally agreed price. That should have been least that they can do.
  So, a negative vote for me directing to Hotel.com. Warning to everyone.
