Trust me, some owners couldn't care less! Plus some dogs are really badly behaved and simply want to bite off your leg or your dogs head!

Not all Ozbargainers are in a position to do that.
Spending the day there and those freebies could get expensive. Best to be aware of costs before buying tickets. Still could be worthwhile if dog shows are your thing. I love my dogs but they aren't my thing at all.

- have people actually enforcing free parking restrictions and checking plates. (The tech is available though not in wide use yet).
- not have half a day to waste moving the damn car.
All I've done here is provide the info. I'm not saying people should not take up the offer, only that they should be aware. What's the problem?

You don't even know where I live. If you want to ride 40km to go to a dog show, only to find there's nowhere to park your bike for free, then possibly have it stolen because you didn't do your homework by all means be my guest. How many ozbargainers are fit enough for a 40km ride with a 5 and 6 year old on the back of that 3 person bike we all own?

If you're going to pay for tickets for an event and parking is 2.5x what you're paying you have a right to know it before you fork over your cash. If that isn't in the spirit of ozbargain then ozbargain is for wasting money not saving it. What is wrong with you?

Also, not sure how parking is 2.5x, considering an adult ticket is $12.50 and the prices you quoted state all-day parking is $25…

$12.50 for 2 hours may or may not be reasonable depending on size of facility, time it takes to park and content of the show. The pavillion isn't small but I simply don't know enough.
Once again all I was doing was making people aware of the parking charge. I have no idea why anyone making a comment like this would see so much hosility and baloney. It should have been 1 post and done.
