    Still in stock, sorry.

    Love mine in white!

These will suit people who don't want/need the big hideous cooler on the Corsair.

    • Does anyone really need a cooler on any RAM?

serious question though, is there a need for it at high levels of overclocking or some such? Everything I have read has always indicated that the RAM heatsinks are unnecessary and just aesthetic

      • Typically, no.

Although, if you're looking to push the RAM to it's absolute limits, it couldn't hurt to dissipate the heat better.

Be aware the ram price is decreasing. So unless it's really cheap, especially newly released products, it's better to just wait.

    • +1

      wait till when?

      • Until it drops.

    • Is it? RAM is still more expensive than it was about two years ago.

      • True. RAM price has been rising for too long. Now is dropping rapidly. Probably because of DDR4.

  • I found this little gem at http://www.overclockers.com/kingston-hyperx-fury-ddr3-1866-2…

    Overclocking
By doing nothing more than raising the voltage to 1.65 V, the Kingston HyperX Fury kit ran happily at 2200 MHz, it doesn’t get much easier than >that! It easily >passed a run of HyperPi 32M at this setting… perhaps we have a DDR3-2200 MHz kit in disguise? Could be.

That was the 2*4gig kit though. I hope its the same, I bought the black kit in the last deal.

    • I own these in white, and I got them to 2400mhz (with slightly looser timings) without raising the voltage. They OC very well.

      • unless I'm mistaken, I think the point is DDR3-2200 Mhz memory is usually 1.65 volts, but WOW, what you managed is terrific. I cant wait until mine arrive. In the article he also claimed he was able to get a CAS of 9 at the rated speed of 1866.

  • ARG I don't need this I don't need this I already had 16GB

  • dumb question… can I split these.. 8gb in 2 PCs? and mix it with another stick.. say 2gb, or 4gb.. ?

    • Yeah you could, these sticks may slow down to the speed of the other sticks though if they are lower.

  • AU$122

  • Seems out of stock but other colors are around 96usd.

  • It was just back in stock but now out of stock again.

Keep an eye on it and it may be available a little later.

Purchased, but then I realised my mainboard won't be compatible.
    $1,500 later, great bargain!

    • eBay, you might even make a profit

      • Hmmmmmmm

  • Hi guys! it doesnt say they are 85.99$? did i miss it?

  • Oh well. I was thinking of upgrading to 32GB of RAM for the lols

  • +1

    It's back in stock.

  • I want a great 2x4GB 1600Mhz deal, as $71 is the best price locally I can get it for.
