Where is the $50 eBay voucher?

    • +1
    • Ask a question or neg - not both at the same time!

    • Neg you just to revoke you neg.

      • If you feel their Neg vote on a deal is unwarranted then you can click on the "report" link under their post and select "invalid negative vote", neg'ing the question defeats the purpose of the down/up vote system.

The question was a valid one, I was also curious until the OP updated.

        • Or i can use what the system was built for, neg the comment to revoke the neg on the deal.

        • @tomleonhart:
And that user changed their vote to neutral but 7 negative votes on their comment still persist so people who aren't OzB members can't see what was asked. In many cases, though not this one, the question would still be valid and answers should be accessible. It's also important for those people considering membership to be able to see a persons reasoning for their negative vote, and unless things have changed, the comments can only be expanded by members.
In my experience very few people remove the neg votes on a comment, since they will continue to remain anonymous there's really no incentive.

        • @Ebany: the user gusper didn't change his vote to neutral. We did.

When a number of neg on a particular comment is > than 5, the system automatically revokes the neg vote of that user on the deal.

And if a user wants to see a neg comment, sign up for an account. We all did.

  • Can the voucher be used for anything?

  • so tempting better if i was in those cities of T&C

is it worth it to spend the extra money on this card or should you just go for this card for $101

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-128GB-EVO-Micro-SD-Memory…

    • +2

I did see that one but 80MB/s compared to 48MB/s is worth the extra money IMHO

      • even its just being used in tablet?

        • I guess it fine in an android tablet. If its a Windows Tablet, the 80MB/s would make a difference. I reckon you could even install an OS on the EVO Plus as 80MB/s is probably on par with a mechanical HDD

        • thanks. I bought this one anyway

    • +1

It's amazing that the same card is available from the same seller at $98.50 … http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Samsung-Sandisk-16GB-32GB-64GB-12…

But not eligible for the voucher … cheeky …

      • Thats the EVO. The one i listed is the EVO PLUS

        • I was referring to the one for $101 mentioned by dlakers3peat :-). The evo Plus is a great deal with the voucher … :-)

  • 6 sold in last hour

    • now 7.

It just hit the front page not long ago. Expect the number of sales to go up soon

  • Why isn't SA included?

Write speed isn't that good. Ok for reading data off the card though.

    • pretty sure it can write faster than you…

      • Yes

  • The new EVO+ and PRO+ are why we've seen so many cheapass deals recently, shops trying to rid old stock. Their theoretical speeds are extreme and I can't wait to do some benchmarking :)

    • I want to see Lexar 1000x MicroSD benchmarks…

      • Same! I do love benchmarking :)

  • Hold off on the deal and wait for tightarse to post this for 10cents less from pc-byte??

  • anyone can get $50 voucher or only those who received email ?

    • anyone as long as its within the t&C outlined in the promotion

Just a heads up to everyone
I've got a MacBook Air and was looking around for one of those micro sd card adapters that does not stick out. Bought one from this guy

    http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/Short-Micro-SD-SDHC-TF-Card-Adapter…

It worked for my 128gb card, arrived in 2 days from Melbourne to QLD, and my MacBook looks sleeker , I'm a very happy man indeed!!!!

    • That's exactly what I want to use this for - is it this card that you're using? If so, how does it perform for you? My use case is to dump out my Photos library to SD card.

      Thanks for the reference!

      • Hi mate,

Yes i am using a 128gb card but not this brand, they all should be the same though.
Performance is good, the ADAPTER is merely a bridge for the card, it's the specs of the actual CARD that defines how it performs.
If you have a mac air, then the adapter I recommend to you is very good

        cheers

Need UHS 3! write speeds are still not great,
