Vodafone Huawei G300+ for $15.60 @ Woolworths

170

Was at Woolworths Wheelers Hill Vic at they had these phones for $15.60. The lady at the desk said it's apparently nation wide. Sorry, but I took the last 2 at Wheelers Hill.

It's a tri-band 2G & 3G (850/900/2100MHz), runs Gingerbread v2.3.6, has a decent 4" screen, a 1GHz single-core processor and a 5MP auto-focus camera. 512 MB RAM. 4 GB storage. Expandable up to 32 GB with microSD card.

        It's an upgrade from the Ideos I've been using.

  • What sim credit does it come with?

    • I haven't opened yet, but I don't think it comes with any sim credit.

    @Skinny

    1. 2 only phones doesnt equal greed (20 maybe)
    2. They had the courtesy to let us know of the deal
      AND
    3. warn others not to waste their time at Wheelers Hill

    My vote is to thank them for doing the right thing around. ☑️

  • Old phone that seems to have found its pricepoint .. :-) .. !!

    Great for a GPS/hotspot/mp3 player

  • So these are at all Woolies branches? (until they run out). Considering going out and having a look around. Ive had a G300 for quite a while (the older version) - pretty good phones for what they are (cheap low end, but for me right size and weight..at least til you run out of the 4gb storage space - you can use link2sd once you root the phone but doesnt really solve space issue if you use tons of apps).
    Low ram = dont upgrade to ICS.. works well enough on android 2.3.

  • do you have to pay to unlock this phone from vodaphone (need telstra) ?

  • None in stock - WoolWorths in Preston

  • Tried many stores around my area in WA Thornlie, Maddington, Livingston, Southern River, Cockburn and maybe others ~ seems like they're rare. (none in stock)
