The Saeco intelia coffee machine looks decent. Been wanting to get an automatic (non pod/capsule) machine for a while now.

    • It's only semi-automatic, you still have to froth the milk manually.

    Breville deal is a steal

    • agreed. Pity I don't need another coffee machine

  • Very tempting to jump on the soundbar as a very early xmas present

Good heater for tiny rooms as it is only 200w.

    • the first review I found was not good, but I tend to trust productreview.com.au as an independent source
      http://www.productreview.com.au/p/philips-htl3140b-79.html

The reviews on the Philips site sound lame/fake.

      Amazon has mixed reviews. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-HTL3140B-05-Soundbar-Subwoof…

I still might roll the dice and get one

    • I think it's pretty good for the price. For that price, you usually can only get the wired sub

    • I bought and returned the soundbar.
      The audio was pretty awful.
The Sub is Wireless over bluetooth and you have to fiddle around with a delay setting to get the sub and speaker in sync.

I attached it via the HDMI ARC connection and the soundbar would start with about 5 minutes of noise while it warmed up after turning on the power.

      • Thanks for the feedback.

  • so how long til SSDs go the way of HDDs and external ones become cheaper than internal? :)

How can the Sandisk be both Cruzer and Ultra? Isn't one USB 2 and the other USB 3?

  • The Trent & Steele Nutritional Blender is a great product. 1000w motor & two year warranty. IMO as ggod or better that 900w Nutribullet Pro or 1000w Ninja… at half the price.

  • Any idea about how good that Breville precision duo and grinder is? Cant seem to find much of review online.

  • I got that coffee machine can't fault it works a charm great coffee and hot water dispenser too

    • MSY is 16GB, this is 32GB in Bold. Why would you pay $12 for 16GB !

  • Thanks for working that magic again Trent86 and thanks to neojen for the voucher tip.

  • Cheers Trent, I purchased the coffee machine for my girlfriends birthday!

Awesome thanks I've been looking for a wireless Sub 'sub' $200 (pun intended). This will do the job!

Already available for local pick up, even better.

  • Ended up grabbing the T&S Blender and the Saeco Intelia Evo Class Coffee Machine. Blender is pretty good and the coffee machine makes a nice coffee. Now to find some nice beans.

  • Thanks Trent. Grabbed Breville precision duo coffee machine with grinder. Machine looks exactly like Breville BES810BSS. If its the case then its definitely a steal.

    • It is the Bes810.. do u know how this compares to the 840?? Thanks

      • 840 has Programmable pour and pressure gauge.

        • Thanks mate .. sorry but it still doesn't make sense to me… The only coffee I know is moka pot and nespresso :(

  • Thanks Trent! Grabbed Sound bar…I think it is a good buy for the money. Sound bar comes with HDMI(Arc),optical and some other ports including usb……good sound! easy install.

  • For anyone who can't be bothered to C&C, the Sandisk Thumb drive is $17 delivered on eBay from Aus seller: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SanDisk-Cruzer-Fit-32GB-Flash-Dri…

  • thanks mate, grabbed the coffee machine as well. it is definitely a good deal. the grinder itself is $129 @ Myer which makes the machine $145.
I do not think you can get a machine like this standard for $145.

  • Weird. Got emailed the code, but it's saying "Please enter a valid promotional code". Anyone else get that?

    • you gotta have harvey norman account first.

      • So you have to create the account first and then sign up?

Now the coupon code is mysteriously working…

  • just got the sound bar how long usually does take for pick up in store take?

    • called up got the sound bar its awesome! note to anybody getting it make sure u have stereo cable or optical doesn't come with one.

      • Could you give us a mini review m8? :)

        • Out of box the sound was decent. Really easy set up literally just plug in the power, plug in the hdmi and its done. Tinkered around for a bit with the equaliser and surround sound options and eventually found a nice, warm sound that I prefer. In the end 8/10 would buy again.

p.s. Harvey Norman sent me an email saying it was ready for pick up today. I went there and they had no idea about it… Sent me to a few other sections before telling me I had to get it from the warehouse instead of them because it wasn't sent to them. In the end 4/10 Harvey get your act together mate.

tldr: Great soundbar, slightly annoyed from Harvey.

          @ohhidayo: Thanks m8 :)

        • Sound bar is great for the price $154 bargain! beats anything in that price range hands down. It comes with a wireless sub the sound quality is ok for the price. Overall for what I paid its great for the price 8/10.

      • Im still waiting

  • just ordered the sound bar. Been looking for one of these. thanks!

  • Cheers got the soundbar!

  • I grabbed the Breville coffee machine, as my ES800 was springing leaks after around 10 years of faithful service (2 coffees a day).
It's a simple machine, but I like that it has PID temperature control. This keeps the brew temperature tightly controlled between 92 and 94 degrees. Haven't tried the grinder as I already have a smart grinder 820, so may sell it on Gumtree.
Milk steamed up beautifuilly, made a great flat white on it this afternoon using the single wall basket.
Hoping I can get a few good years out of this one.

  • Got Breville grinder/coffee machine and sound bar. Sound bar is great. Coffee machine is good, played around with grinding settings to get it working. I found anything finer than 15 does not work.It automatically stops pouring after 1 minute. Makes a good brew. They had all the coffee sales reps at shop offering coffees so I am bouncing off walls today. Thanks OP!

    • Depending on what you're brewing 1 minute is a very long time to be making espresso. Most shots should be 30-50seconds.

      • +1

Thanks, have been reading up on brewing over past week. Original coffee's I was making was too fine. Got grind right in double basket to pour a 60ml shot in 30 seconds. Makes a nice strong latte.

        • That sounds much better. I generally aim for 35-40 seconds but it all depends on the beans your flavour preference.

  • thanks op. ordered the sound bar online at about 1pm today…still haven't got any notifications to pick it up…do they text u?

    • I called store and they checked their computer and said they had it in store they could see my order and said to come in even though i had not received the email to pick-up.

      • thanks i shall call them tomorrow…

  • +1

Thanks to Trent86 and also to neojen for the voucher tip.
Picked up the Breville coffee machine and grinder today, very happy with it for this price.
One of my friends has the Breville BES860 and another has the BES920 (which is a fantastic machine) but costs around $1200 negotiated.
This BES810 stacks up well against those, still makes a great coffee from early testing and the grinder performs well too.
Very happy so far with this purchase and particularly the price tag.
Harvey Norman gave $25 discount in-store without buying online first, although it was below what they could sell for had to show them discount code email to pass onto their boss.
Also 15% off all coffee accessories at the moment as well if anyone is interested.

  • so HN is the best value tech store now?

  • Thanks OP.
Just picked up the Sandisk Ultra Fit. Saved me a trip to MSY and $2.

  • Not sure if this has all supposed to have expired but the Ultra Fit is still listed for $16 on the HN web site.
    http://www.harveynorman.com.au/computers-tablets/networking-…

    • Yeah I don't know who expired this post, it's all still on sale

  • never posting a deal again since its just gonna get deleted and replaced.

    • Are you the one who posted the Sandisk ultra?

  • anyone got the cash back yet?

Yeah I called them other week ( the lady was pretty rude on the phone). They said it takes about 4 weeks for them to process the cash back refund.

  • i was looking at buying the Nutri Ninja Pro Plus on the eBay deal for $139- (with $50- eBay voucher) but then noticed the Trent and Steele blender for $88- online yesterday at Harvey (cheapest yet?)
so as one does, I get 2 of them with the $25- sign up email for $75- each. almost half the price of the Ninja pro.
anyone had any problems with the T&S blender?
its nice to know it comes with a 2yr warranty though.
