Buy EVGA 980ti from Amazon?

Hi,
I am going to start building a skylake pc, and it seems a 980Ti in australia is $1050 minimum.
I can get an evga card with a world wide warranty from Amazon for $870 (unsure if this is with shipping) with the stock cooler or $930 with the dual blowers.

Has anyone ever done something like this before to save money and in your opinion was it worth it?

  • have you looked at this?

price has gone up (hence marked as expired), but code still works. Might be cheaper than amazon after you include shipping.

I bought a gtx970 when they first came out from amazon, paid ~$400aud ea for it (from memory). Sold it recently used for more than that (due to the diving AUD), so for me, it was worth it.

    • This is $15 cheaper, thank you :)

      • FYI - I didn't get my cashback from cashrewards (prolly due to using the code).

        EDIT: and you're welcome

  • Check the price including shipping first…

    • Newegg is about 980 with shipping.

      • did you put in the code that takes $40 off?

I'm getting $935.20 with the code incl shipping

        • Hidden behind a email prompt, cheers :)
