SanDisk Ultra SDHC Card (8GB) - $0.99 @ Australia Post

904

Clearance item at all Aus Post stores. Check the clearance bin or ask the staff if they aren't on the shelves. Might scan at $6.99, but just let them know it's a $0.99 clearance item and show them the receipt below:

EDIT: Just spoke with my manager and he claims it is on the system. Every Monday stores check their system for updated prices/clearance item. This popped up and he claims all retail stores should get it. Item in question is low in global stock and they want to get rid of it. Either the stores haven't bothered checking the system, assume it's a pricing error, don't want to bother printing it and displaying it, or are keeping it for themselves. Debate the issue with this statement if you please, but don't push it if they keep denying. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

      • At least they post the deal here

  • Is it only the 8gb on special?

    • Only the 8gb, yes.

  • OMFG I need one of these for my SLR. I am gonna check my local AU post tomorrow.

    Perfect opportunity for a Broden.

    • Love your work :)

  • just as well they wont post. Who knows when it will be delivered if at all.

  • OP is there a limit on how many you can buy? and if i say its on clearance, what proof do i have to say that. I mean its not on catalog or anything.

    • But as many as you want and show my receipt. All managers of all stores should be aware.

My post office wouldn't accept the clearance item line. Any suggestions of how to get them to do it

  • Pricing error
Was 99c last week. They fixed the price.

    • That makes sense with all the other people having troubles buying more.

      • +1

It does, however when I purchased, we had to key the price in manually.

        • what!? hook us up! XD

  • They were purchased yesterday on receipt

  • Sorry OP, not negging you or the deal but the image host in the Deal Link.
Imagehost that show popups asking me to install software does not belong in this day and age.
    Rehosted your receipt here

Also, the Brisbane GPO didn't accept the receipt, they said it must be an old stock clearance elsewhere. Scanned at $6.9 though.

    • Perfectly fine. I wasn't aware, otherwise I would've changed website. Thanks for the re-up!

  • RBWH post office said they had none in stock and would not have repriced them anyway, did not know anything about a clearance.

  • Went to 2 both said there was no deal and wanted full price

  • Same here… Aust post in Cannon Hill QLD says nope. me thinks its not a actual all aust post clearance

    • Same here… Boxhill Aus post. no go……..

      • Same at St Leonards. They claim it was a pricing error last week which has now been corrected. $6.99 now.

        • Can't be a pricing error as he just recieved the label to print yesterday. Pricing label had the product at $0.99 and all stores should be checking every Monday for new price tags.

  • is Johnny really a representative?

I'll check today with my manager. All stores should be accepting the offer! It's old stock that all stores need to get rid of.

    • +1

Is there a catalog or official auspost something that shows this price or do we just have receipt that shows it happened but is most likely an error on the system.

      • +3

No catalog and no error. I was simply told that this is old stock and it needs to go. Was advised it will be priced at $0.99, however will not show in the system. I'll try and get some more information and proof that it is in fact $0.99 so you can show when purchasing. Really sorry about all this guys.

        • Let us know ASAP, I could do with a bunch of these for all my retro gaming gear ;)

        • Maybe its just your store/manager, not all managers think alike

  • +1

This sounds like an individual store clearance, don't bother going into a AusPost store with a receipt or saying "the scanned price is incorrect" unless you have a catalogue or something. The scanned price is controlled and updated from head office unless an individual store puts on a clearance. The scanned price is basically the way counter staff find out how much something is, unless we have a catalogue, marketing material or internal communication that overrides that. Cheers

    • Correct. Let me find out from my manager where he got the information from and what it says. From what he was told, it was every store clearing out this item.

  • I tried Albert street Brisbane. No go.

  • I went to Eastwood, Carlingford and Epping NSW today. First two post offices did not have 8GB version. Epping got about 6 of SanDisk Ultra SDHC 8GB card. Scanned at $6.99. but staff refused to sale it at $0.99. She said the invoice I showed to her did not include an item number.

  • So I went into Post Office near Vic Market and showed the reciept, wish I re-checked this thread before I did though cause obviously they didnt care for it.
So if this is store only clearence, is there any word on what the stock levels are at Port Melbourne?

    • We only had a few left and they got taken by customers fairly quickly.

  • For $1 would do for Windows 10 Media.
