All of these games have at least 4 stars out of 5 on metacritic. They must be pretty bad hey?
I would give metacritic 1 star out of 5. It is a very 'grain of salt' reference point.
I would give the same 1 star out of 5 to ozbargain comment reviews on ps plus games for the "I haven't heard of it" or "this isn't a AAA game" so it must be bad mentality.
@Venom_TAG: fwiw, i agree. I don't discard the unknown games as unworthy, I just don't like retro/2d platform games. I feel like buying a 400$ gaming device to play games that are also released on mobile phones is a waste.
My comment was not disgruntlement at the quality of PS+ games, it was directed solely at metacritic. Grow home looks good.
Why talk out of your ass? At least 4 of these games are great.
Link is for US psn accounts, might be zero differences, but usually worth pointing out which country this deal is for.
That's true. I keep forgetting about the crappy regions with Playstation.
Well I guess we have had a month with a title people might actually know and want, so it's back to the unknowns. Things I will add to my account but never download thinking one day I'll get time to take a look, finally got around to counter spy this week and enjoyed that so you never know
Counter Spy was awesome.
Grow Home and Super Time Force Ultra are both pretty great apparently, so I'm pretty happy with those.
Yeah came to say exactly this. Grow Home is a ripper little game.
this got announced earlier then I was expecting!
I was underwhelmed at first (compared to last month's Limbo and Lara Croft) but after investigating I'm looking forward to these.
Playing Limbo has encouraged me to dig a bit deeper than the AAA releases, it's been rewarding so far.
I'm the same. I'm predominantly a PC(MR) guy and have never really appreciated indies but I've played a lot of great indie titles on PS4 so far.
Teslagrad is awesome!
My initial reaction upon most PS Plus announcements is disappointment, as I don't recognise most of the titles.
Then I watch the announcement video, and read a little bit about the titles, and look forward to trying them. They don't always click, but I really enjoy having the chance to experience titles I never would have otherwise - like Never Alone, Valiant Hearts & Guacamelee. It's nice to step outside my comfort zone and try new things.
Guacamelee is fantastic!
So nothing good
