    Very nice price, too bad I have a pc

  • Sheesh retailed at $199? The retail pricing must be ancient.

  • don't have a mac myself… but i don't think the black would go with the white/silver color scheme Apple use.. and that might be the reason they are clearing it out on COTD?

    • Makes sense, that and probably the somewhat recent slim apple wireless keyboard which looks awesome to me at least.

  • It goes well with the imac, the screen surround is black, and the 'chin' of the mac is the same aluminium colour. If i had some money to burn, i'd buy it. Only drawback would be thats it's not bluetooth.

    • They say in specs - Edited - incorrect see further comments below

      • SO does that mean you could use it on a PC that has bluetooth? Whats the difference between a Mac kbd and a PC one, I guess other than the windows key?

      • Doesn't say anywhere that its bluetooth.

        Logitech use their own propriety 2.4ghz stuff.

        Contents:
        Logitech® diNovo Mac® Edition Cordless Keyboard
        USB mini-receiver

        Comes with the dongle so it's not bluetooth.

        (I'm guessing CotD might have updated it since you posted though)

        They've also stated down the bottom it does NOT work with a PC. Might just be a "not officially supported" type thing though ;)

  • These were being offloaded on graysonline not too long ago along with the HP keyboards/mice (lycosa etc).

    Probably because they were overpriced at $199. Looks pretty decent for under $60 though :)

  • ozpete, I think you need to double check if you want to buy it. It says there is a usb receiver in it.

    • Yes you are right - I was browsing the Logitech website for details and probably got onto another product that they have which said that. On their specs they say

      Logitech® diNovo Mac® Edition Cordless Keyboard
      * USB mini-receiver
      * CD with software
      * Comfort guidelines
      * User guide

      Thanks

  • i have this keyboard for my mac…it is fantastic (not sure how well it would play with a PC though?)
    and yes it definitely has a USB receiver, no bluetooth support.

  • Mainly good for Mac heads who would like to use a wireless keyboard WITH a numeric keypad.

  • The basic keyboard functions would work, but not the media keys.

  • ARGH! I gave in and just bought one. Decided to check one out in person today…..feels top notch. Was glad this link was here so i could order even tho there was a new catch.
