All prices include delivery but do not include the $1.20 "Handling Fee".

Of course I have not received these wines so can't 100% confirm they are as my searches suggest, so you should confirm. But they don't hide anything very well so I expect you will be able to confirm them very easily.

If you happen to be the only person on this site who has not bought from Cellarmasters before you can use my referral code to get a $50 voucher ($120 spend required), I would get a $50 voucher as well. Or pick someone from the Cellermasters referral list.
Referral scheme expired (and I don't think anyone received vouchers), try the voucher code below.

This would bring the Gemtree down to $94 for a dozen, which is great value. But I highly doubt there is anyone who has not bought something from them before!

Don't forget Bonus 7.60% Cashback from Cashrewards.

You also need to add $1.20 for their ridiculous "Handling Fee".

Dan's Gemtree is actually 2013 (or later - you can't trust vintages published online)

Dan's do have Gemtree Dragon's Blood at 2 for $15.90ish this month for members. Not sure if Uncut is better or not (umm, the wine that is!)

    • Yep, the Expert Reviews on Dan's show the 2013 at 94 points and the 2012 at 95. 2012 also got more medals.

Numbers on the Dragon's Blood are the opposite 2013 gets 95 and 2012 gets 94 :) I expect I'll get some of that to compare as well.

Yep, but you're saying 2010 in your description for Dan's. Should be 2013+

        • Fixed, thanks.

The Dragon's Blood reviews are courtesy of the "Dan Murphy's Wine Panel", which is often, shall we say, quite generous in its praise. Their points are not comparable with Halliday et al.

It is a good quaffer but not in the same league as Uncut. DM has a 2-for-1 offer on for Dragon's Blood at the moment (2014 vintage - haven't tried it) that makes it less than $8 per bottle, a good deal.

    • I'll include the $1.20 (stupidest fee ever).

As someone who hasn't ordered from Cellarmasters before, thanks for the referral link. Has anyone tried the Dolan Langhorne Creek Shiraz? Tossing up between that and the Gemtree. I've tried the Gemtree before and wasn't blown away, but for <$8 a bottle…

  • There is also a Cellarmasters Referral Wiki going if you want to share the love, or add your own referral code..https://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/cellarmasters_referrals

btw thanks OP, I signed up the other day… still no voucher, so I hope these are still around :)

    • Didn't know about that, thanks. Added the list to the post.

If you've posted a deal on here and need a $50 discount voucher (not first order), PM me. Due to bad vibes on a comment I made on another so-called wine "deal", I've decided not to share it publicly.

Hi OZB Al, thanks for the tip. I've not used cellarmasters before, so have used your referral link. I'll see if the voucher comes along and if the gemtree is still available. Thanks again

Gemtree deals are popping up at Dan's, WineMarket and CellarMasters (All owned by Woolies). I think these are cancelled exports to China. Happy about the discount prices and expect more pain to come for wine exporters, good for us though!

Use code SUPER for 30% off

    • If that stacks with the new member $50 it will be an amazing deal.

Speaking of which has anyone actually received a $50 new member voucher?

I checked the "Get FREE wine!" email they sent telling us about the referral program and these were the T&C:

Friends (Referrer) $50 vouchers have a minimum spend of $120, may only be used once and expire on the 9th October 2015. Vouchers will only be issued if the referred friend has not previously purchased from Cellarmasters and upon successful registration, including acceptance of terms and conditions and opt in to receiving wine offers.

Customer (Referree) $50 credits will be issued on the 14 October by email, are valid for 12 months from date of receipt, and are not redeemable for cash. No minimum spend. Customer account credits will only be applied if referred friends purchase by 9th October 2015. Customer referrals are unlimited but a fair play policy applies.

AVAILABILITY - This offer is valid until 9th September 2015.

      • same here. registered but never got anything from Cellermasters

  • Received wine, Mystery Label McLaren Vale Shiraz is 2012 Gemtree Uncut Shiraz as expected.

  • +2

Use cash rewards and Cellarmasters $50 voucher code - 50WINE, valid until 30/9/22015
You can get the Gemtree for $87 a carton.
    Which = Bargain

    • Perhaps this new voucher code is Cellarmasters way of saying that they can't really do referral codes properly.

Drank a bottle of uncut tonight, might get another case at this price!
