Overgrowth has been confirmed to be portable into a steam account, Natural Selection 2 is all but confirmed in writing.

Was Natural Selection any good?
I've played various team-based fps for years now, and I still love Natural Selection. It's really amazing how the developers have managed to balance out the two opposing teams while not recycling weapons. Best thing is, it's free! Natural Selection 2 will be much better. +ve from me, great find!
It doesn't seem worth it to me.
I'm not convinced these games will be that good. People are just assuming natural selection will be awesome.

pretty much Aliens Vs marines
marines get a commander that can deploy structures like an rts
and aliens work on a hive mind and can evolve
cant wait to see what they do with NS2
overgrowth looks nice too
NS1 was good. I've been keeping tabs on NS2 and it has been in development for many years, and from what I've seen of the dev videos it has still stuck to the tried and true formula of NS1.
Although I was unimpressed with Lugaru — the predecessor of Overgrowth. Don't think Overgrowth is really worth it.
