  Samsung J1 at Samsung is $178 at the good guys (Other stores are $199)

  Which totals to $128, with $50 gift voucher

  It lacks RAM though, only 768MB

  I've got a similar dilemma and budget (and our low dollar isn't helping). I've heard Lenovo K3 thrown about a few times regarding budget phones but with our low exchange rate it ends up being $180 AUD or so on special deals.

  Since I use Vaya (Optus) I'm also considering getting the ZTE Fit for $45 this Wednesday for better 4g support (includes LTE700 band).

  Zte smart 4g fit for 45 bangers on hump day…. Gotta love lady humps…. Errr best bang for buck.

  I saw an offer of a prepaid Optus Huawei Y520 for $49 at K Mart last Saturday… was a fixed ad in store so should be everywhere. Not as good as some previous offers for Huawei phones but still worth a look.
  I did see a 5" Huawei Y635 on offer for $99 recently.. cant remember where but would be good bang for the $.
