Men's Custom Tailored Dress Shirts in Sydney - $55

22

If you are looking for great custom dress shirts at great prices, this is the place to shop! My friends all addicted to their shirts.

Someone had mentioned these guys to me before. They offer custom dress shirts for men at incredible prices; they don't have a storefront, but hosts events on weekends in Sydney. They are here on February 20th.

My neighbors shirt looks incredible and the fabric is amazing. Shirts are only $55, so its quite reasonable.

They also have a promotion; buy 4, get 1 free. I think you need to register at www.SHIRTPAL.com/sydney

They have a cool digital mannequin tool at www.shirtpal.com

I have some friends who have purchased from them before and have been very impressed. I'm looking forward to buying my 5 shirts this weekend.

  • so much for 55 dollars the lowest i can find is 55

  • Should say from $55 … certainly looks like kyldrkn is right

  • Anyone knows online stores that sell cheap garments? We have DealExtreme for cheap gadgets, but I think shirts or clothings are generally overpriced everywhere..

    • your typical tshirt places (threadless etc) i guess. if you want cheap clothes better off going to lowes etc

  • www.tmlewin.com - great shirts, you get the VAT back, and delivery to aust is reasonable. with the strong aussie dollar, the shirts work out to be around $45 each - you have to pay $150 to get an equivalent shirt here. i buy all mine from there.

  • sockpuppeting? Neg until proven otherwise (as I can see no 'bargain' here).

I wasn't spamming/advertising here. I have seen a few of their shirts and have been impressed. I have previously bought custom shirts locally, but its been quite expensive. Online ordering hasn't been that successful as I have always been disappointed with the fabrics. Considering what I normally pay for custom shirts, I think this is a bargain.

  • Hmmm, well this still looks like a bit of a promo spiel / advertising, but out of curiosity I checked out shirtpal for myself anyway. The website is quite nice and easy to use - you can see the shirt 'mannequin' changing as you select different fabrics so you can see what your final shirt will look like. You can select your collar type and cuffs too, which is quite appealing to me.

The deal is pretty good too - similar to the tmlewin deal - the prob with tmlewin is that the shirt is not really made to your perfect fit and you can't customise it to the n'th degree - it's basically readymade stuff that they send you in your round-about size. This is fine for a non-fussy customer, but I'm personally quite particular about fit and style.

With shirtpal, it's not really buy 4 shirts get the 5th free. It's more like order 5 shirts and get a $55 discount off the total. This is still pretty good. The average shirt is about $65-$70, but after getting 5 the price comes down to $54-$59 per shirt. Plus you can customise each shirt and apparently get your measurements professionally taken at the shirtpal event. They guarantee a perfect fit shirt or they replace it or give a refund, which I think is a pretty awesome guarantee and makes the buying decision easy - if it's not made to my liking they'll make it again or give me my money back.

To write such a long review - you can probably tell I'm into my custom shirts! I've bought plenty in Asia and from England and have paid different prices for each. I guess for me, it's more the fit, quality of material, ease of ordering and customisability that are important. I'll definitely drop down to Burwood on Saturday to check out the shirtpal event to get my measurements taken - think this is worth a shot since I have nothing to lose.
