Large Topeak Saddle Bag, $16.99 + Free Shipping, RRP $39 @ Bicycles Online

480

EDIT: Large clip version is sold out, but smaller sizes and the strapped versions are still available.

Came across this while looking for a saddle bag and thought this was a pretty good deal. Even seems to come with an extra saddle clip that costs $8.99 separately. Comes in different sizes but the large is the most discounted. There's also a heavily discounted strap version.

To compare, Pushys has the large strap version for $29.99 and $12 shipping. Wiggle and ChainReactionCycles have the large clip version for roughly $27.99 and $10 shipping, and in store I've seen it for $40.

  • Looks good. Bought one. Thanks!

  • Just bought one, thanks for posting this!

  • Guys get the Medium, it's cheaper at $12.99. I own a size medium and I think that it's the perfect size. Large looks a bit too big imo (less aero :P)

    • would your legs hit it if you got large? as that would piss me of lol

      edit SOLD OUT!

    • That price is for the strap version? Anybody have any experience with the clips? i figured the clip was a better deal due to bonus secondary attachment

  • Just had a look at the sales section of that website! So many good bargains to be had!

  • Large now sold out, grabbed a Medium. Thanks!

    • medium also sold out :-(

    Great price!

    I own: http://www.wiggle.com.au/topeak-wedge-drybag-with-strap-larg…

It's big, like really big. But it doesn't impede on my cycling and stores a ridiculous amount of junk (i.e. 2 tubes, levers, a handful of CO2's, keys, phone, jacket etc). All in a dry bag. Definitely recommend it.

I also own a topeak small which I find too tight.

Lots of goodies on sale page. If you are interested in the wedge bag, they have a dry bag version - https://www.bicyclesonline.com.au/topeak-wedge-drybag-quickc…

    • thanks got a large and medium one for me and one for my son

      • Spent a little bit extra and ordered this one in medium too, only because I prefer the look of it LOL.

  • How about their bottle cages and water bottles? Any recommend?

    • I have 2x camelbak podium chill. Stay cold for a long time and convenient while cycling (never have to close the lid if you don't want to for easy access). I can't fault them

    • Those Camelbak Podium Chill bottles are great. I have a smaller one and it keeps water cool for quite a while compared to a standard bottle where it goes warm pretty quick. I only just bought a cheap cage and bottle today before getting home and spotting this. Would have grabbed one of the 750ml bottles as a secondary bottle. The valve on them is also great, very good design.

EDIT: Just bought a 750ml one as I worked out I can tuck the other bottle into the top of my pannier bag. Giving me three bottles on board.

      • Thinks mate. Bought one

  • Sold out :(

If you don't mind using straps, there's still this? https://www.bicyclesonline.com.au/topeak-aero-wedge-pack-str… :)

Plus the smaller sizes might be better honestly, the large is the best price but I got a small myself, don't like too bulky things hanging off my saddle.

      • Thanks for the further reference.

After reading a number of negative reports about the plastic clip, I canceled just prior to committing. But the strap version seems more secure (if a tiny bit less convenient), so ordered the medium version @ $13 delivered (including a free bonus glueless puncture kit).

  • got one, cheers op!

cheers, went on a bit of a spree…topeak wedge drybag, topeak racerocket hp, and 2x elite custom race + camelback podium big chill!

was looking at the tri-bag with rain cover, but not sure whether to get that or the more drybag version (or something different).

  • Has anyone received their order for this Topeak saddle bag yet? I'm still waiting to receive mine. It's been almost 3 weeks - I was expecting to get in just a few days. Is it coming from international or is it lost in the post?

    • Ordered mine on 30 November - arrived yesterday (WA).

    • Got mine. Definitely coming international (I think it said Singapore on my packaging).
