    When would it have been brewed?

    • 9-12 months ago I'd guess

        They'd taste a bit stale then…

        • Not at all.
          Beer ages pretty well up to about 20 months in my home brewing experience.
          Still very drinkable at 24 months, but tastes best around 18-20 months.

          Note that the only people who say that "Fresh" beer tastes better are the peddlers of crap beer.

        • Had some of the pale ale from this batch last weekend. First beer to go. Tasted great.

          @scubacoles:
          I agree that home brew takes some time to mature, and is best after 12 months, but that is not the case with this commercially brewed swill. It does not age or mature (for the better) after it goes in the bottle.

          Drink local. Drink fresh.
          Drink better. Drink less.

          @IAmMiguel78:
          Anyone who has tasted aged Coopers Sparkling Ale or Vintage would disagree.
          Although you may choose to not classify Coopers as commercially brewed swill.
          I'd expect Cascade to be marginally above swill and at this price well worth it.

          FYI I'm currently drinking Cascade Blonde from the previous deal BB 11 Nov and still fine…
          Craft Brew is great, but when I can buy 5 cartons of "swill" for 1 carton of Craft, my Ozbargain money is on the "swill".

    For some reason the web page would not give free postage in Brisbane but the call centre processed it manually and took the gift card over the phone.
    $39.80 - 5% for 32 stubbies of Cascade delivered.
    Thanks op.

  • How do you get the free delivery?

  • Did a click and collect for four boxes of the pale ale, got home and found two have bb in Dec and the other two are May 2016. A nice win.

  • picked one up today, may 2016 expiry.
