Thanks OP, bought a 3 pack @$8.00. specs are a bit better, if they can be believed

    • Yes, agree

    • Did you get your 3 pack? Still waiting for a collect email, as well as for the $5 Eneloops from the day before

      • No see my email below, like you asked where the collect email was (5th Dec.)
Called into the store today to check /collect the credit papers as I asked for a refund over the phone when they advised nil stock. Well still waiting for the money to go into the account. 10Days.

Will give head office a serve tomorrow they are super quick to take your money refund take ages for a refund - 6 weeks last time and only after PayPal got involved

  • Isn't 8MB/S read even slow for USB 2.0?

  • Anyone else have trouble checking out with Click n Collect via Paypal.
After PayPal i get sent back to DS site, where they want me to proceed with purchase, press proceed, next thing it tells me i didn't select a mailing address, even though i went vis Click and Collect?
    What the?

  • Yea I had the same issue… are you on your mobile? Had to "go to full site"

    • Im on my laptop using the full site, but it is a 3G internet connection.
I have tried all 3 ways, utter load of rubbish and waste of time.
I have never seen a more ridiculous check out from any online store.

      EDIT: 7th attempt it worked

Sometimes you have to click on "update order" then "place order" a couple of times, checking your address details in between even though it's click & collect.

        • Yes, did that the last 4 times :)

Ok, so i can just go to the store and collect it now?
Sorry, never done Click n Collect before.
Or do i have to wait for it to be shipped to that store?
It did say they had stock at the store i picked.
          Thank You.

Wait for email saying it's ready to collect.

        • @28Degrees:
          Thank You.
Mmmm, perhaps not a great option if you cant go and get it straight away.
I'll leave this town tomorrow :(

I take it this deals are online only?
Or can you go and do the same at the store?

If you can't wait just go in and explain your situation. Usually they can look up your order and get it for you on the spot.

I remember when blank DVD-Rs were around the $1 mark. Never thought USB flash drives would approach anything near that. I remember 128mb ones costing $100 :P

    • still does with apple

  • Looks like they've removed it.

    Page Not Found.

  • In store the USB scanned at $3. Yesterday evening.

  • Dick Smith - doubt if I will ever buy of them again, their stock control so lame, in that you place an order shows stock then when you don't get a collect email, ring them - sorry no stock. this is the 3rd time it has happened to me.
Wish they go under to put us out of our misery with shonky ads, non existent sales, dodgy price practices and I could go on but may get into trouble here.
