  • thats in US dollars
    around 1000 in aussie

then its 5% fee for transporting using one of those companies
    so around 1050

    hmmm
a website like digidirect sells for around 1250
they have a store which means u can try to bargain (i did when i got a canon)
also if ya go overseas u can claim GST back

so u save maybe 100-150 bucks, with issues of delivery (camera is breakable)
its cheap, but whether its worth it for all the hassle…

  • Or try assortedgoods and buy a Nikon D90 for $600 then try and get your money back after the camera never arrives. :)

  • DWI Digital Cameras sell it for $1125.

Considering the shipping dangers and issues of cost in getting returns, I'd much rather buy from them.

    So… meh.

It's a good Price sure enough but if your looking to drop 1K on a DSLR, Pentax would not be my first or second choice, I would opt 50D or D90 because of lens options, that's my 2 cents

  • Amazon.com doesn't ship cameras etc to Australia.

Remember also that if the total including shipping is more than A$1000 you get to pay GST plus a customs clearance fee of around A$50.

    • yeah, customs duty would be large
