    Hp is i3 not i5

    • fixed

  • Hp is a good buy if you don't mind the fact that the HP 250 series are pretty basic laptops, both in terms of features and build quality. Also the processor is also 2 gens old (the latest being Skylake 6000 series)

Otherwise fork out more for a better model like the Probook series or Lenovo E550.

According to HP website there will be a HP 250 with up-to-date Core™ i3-6100U processor, so this is being discontinued later next year. http://www8.hp.com/au/en/products/laptops/product-detail.htm…

  • I think its a typo but on the [9PM - Ends Midnight 27/12/2015] section they have 10 970 g1 gaming graphics cards.

    • Saw this too. Hopefully can get lucky, ridiculous savings. Have been in the market to buy another GPU, was eying the G1 970 too!

      • Was $269 now its $479, still not a bad price, similar to the 20% off ebay sale earlier in the year

        • ahhh they changed it. Thought it would be too good to be true. But at 10pc avail, i had hope.
          $479 is decent.

        • @NitroNinja:
Gigabyte GeForce GTX970 Twin Turbo OC will be $429 [4AM - Ends Midnight 26/12/2015] but only 5 Available

        • @wlqrichard:
For those worried about limited stock what I do is buy first with a card that has price protection then claim back the difference later as you know the price is going to drop.If the store has a cashback program then you can get the cashback on the higher price too!

  • 10pm 27 dec - Canvio 2tb for $2399. One hell of a deal

  • How good is asus zenbook? Is 128gb enough nowdays as I tend to take a lot of pictures and videos of my little one and save on laptop?

    • Won't take long to fill up. It has an SD card slot, or you could buy something faster like this for expansion under $30: 64GB Cruzer Fit - it has 3 USB 3.0 ports.

  • Its a bit iffy that Shopping Express changed the 6AM offer from 3TB WD external drive deal for $109 (50 units) to the 3TB WD portable drive for $179

    • That's hell dodge

  • +3

    Well this was disappointing…
    No $399 GTX 970 :(

  • Was eyeing the Asus 4K laptop. It looks like a lot of people are giving the display a thumbs down. Has anyone actually used these?

    http://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/asus-x555lb-15.6-4k-la…

I need the workspace and mobility so having a 4k resolution would be very handy. I'm using a 2014 macbook air (1440x900 display) and Im pretty sure it's not IPS so the Asus not being IPS wouldn't be a problem.

  • The HP 250 G4 is still available for $379. Looks like this sale has been extended until midnight 29/12/15.
I bought one for the kids. Not a bad laptop for the price.
