  • Any advantage of this over a Class 10 micro sd in an adapter? For Nikon D3300 camera

I would recommend this over micro SD card. I had personal experience of the adapter not working after some time (not this brand though). On the other hand micro SD has the benefit of being used in multiple devices if necessary. Your choice :)

    • go for SanDisk Extreme Pro 95MB/s - these are expensive(over $90 for 32GB) in HN/TGG/OWs.
      Cheapest price $39 for 32GB is : http://cplonline.com.au/32g-sandisk-sdhc-extreme-pro-95mb-s.…

point of getting faster card?? i notice the camera will not lose any shots but just took few more seconds longer to actually write it into the card as the "led flashing". maybe it is something to consider for ppl who continuous shoot a lot but not for occasionally single shoot ppl?

30 or 40 MB/s is much more than 80 Mbps.

    • The one in the store is likely MBps, so it would be faster. Just a typo in the OP :)

      • Yep typo. Make sure you guys buy the 2015 stock which is 80MB/s. Old stock is 40MB/s, same as the cheaper 8GB.
Just realised HN having similar deal. Not sure speed of sd card for HN though, their website still showing the older 30MB/s.

Hardly Normal price match I'm guessing.

    Also MicroSD 16GB $9

PRMA of Harvey Norman. Doesn't warrant a separate deal.

  • bought two @ ebay / cashrewards =)

    • The one on ebay, up to 30MB/s.

  • thks, will be getting a few for my 8 year old son ….. he got a camera for christmas, so these are ideal at this price.

  • Got the micro at HN for same price, it is also 80 mb/s

  • Is their microSD card decent enough to use in phones?
It is quoted as class 10 - http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/sandisk-16g…

      Sure is

    • It should be fine for use in phones.

  • About 10 of each remaining at Liverpool (9:30am), if there's none on show, ask one of the workers. They have some behind the counter in case they haven't filled them.

  • Good buy, wonder how much money actually gets made when its this cheap

  • About 20 of the 80MB/s SDHC left in Elizabeth SA. Thanks OP.

  • Price on the shelf at Clarence St, Sydney wasn't $9, but they had the 16GB 80MB/s MicroSD (with adapter) for $9

  • pick up 1 SD and 3 micro SD , Thanks OP

  • Thank you for the great deal!

  • Thanks just picked up on from Marshfield. Plenty of both SD and micro SD however shelf price has not been updated

  • Went to 2 OWs. First only had 40MB stock, second had 80MB on the shelf, both $9.

  • Hi Guys.

When calling staff to check stock, please ask them to scan the barcode to double check price before putting stock aside.

Old stock and new stock are IDENTICAL in look apart from the barcode - both are 80MB/s unlike the website which shows the $9 card at 40MB/s.

    Happy Ozbargaining.

  • Plenty of Stock at Castle Hill Store of SD Card 8GB 40MB/S as well…

There were Sandisk ULTRA 16 GB 80MB/S micro with adapter so bought few as well. But only 6 or 7 left on the shelve hook. It is great value at 80MB/S as most budget SLR cameras won't write or read more than 40MB/S. Don't buy from ebay or Aus Computer sites as they say up to 50% Sandisk cards around the shops are all Fake. Stores like JB, HN, Camera House obviously buy from Aus wholesaler so they are good. Sometimes like the current affair story, where Target store selling Fake MAC Cosmetic thinking the big reseller in USA is Genuine.

MSY selling Sandisk Extreme Pro 64GB 95MB/s for $69 where Geroge Camera House says their selling for $199 where their cost price is more than $100. So you be the judge. I am not saying MSY is selling fake, just some local and overseas wholesalers are knowingly selling quality fake stuff. Best to test the card with speed tester to see the write and read speed to see if they are close enough as mentioned on the box.
