Kmart - TV on DVD Seasons $10 (Married Children, Bewitched, Dream Jeannie, Shield etc)

Latest entertainment catalogue from Kmart (starts Thursday 4th March) has some cRaZy priced TV shows on DVD (individual seasons, all individually pictured), including the following…
- Bewitched (1-6)
- I Dream of Jeannie (1-5)
- Married With Children (1-9)
- The Shield (1-6)
- Sex & The City (only S5 & S6p1 / S6p2 pictured)
- The Simple Life (1-5)
- Laguna Beach (1-3)
- Girls of the Playboy Mansion (1-4)
Trade wide promo starts on the 3rd, with these titles reduced to rrp $19.95 elsewhere - Kmart appear to be selling these for $5 below wholesale cost price. Hopefully its not a typo in the catalogue ;)
CrAZy prices for these - there are other shows pictured, but the list above are the best ones!

Sorry - industry talk. Trade-wide means the titles are being reduced in price for all stores, not just one particular chain - these titles are being reduced to $19.95 as part of a trade-wide promo (amongst others), but Kmart seem to be selling these for much less.
Kmart typically start sale catalogues on Thursdays, while DVD releases / price drops are done on Wednesdays - so these titles will probably be $15-$20 ish if you go into Kmart on Wednesday, but $10 on Thursday when the sale starts.
The Catalogue is up, it’s just not showing on the Kmart Website where it should be.

It’s certainly not my cup of tea but for those looking to get a whole bunch of Married with Children, JB has the whole 11 seasons for $79 online;

Modern Family has allowed me to appreciate Ed O’Neil’s acting abilities, but I still can’t stomach Married with Children.
Bewitched is cheaper at JB HIFI if you buy the complete box set includes all 8 seasons and bonus disc. This equals $9.87 each season.
I Dream of Jenie also cheaper at JB HIFI if you buy the complete box set includes all 5 seasons. This equals $9.80 each season.
The Shield would be my pick here of the $10 tv shows
JB Hifi only sell the box set of Bewitched cheaper online, which means you have to pay postage also. I went to the store today to buy it for my uncle and they price-matched it but insisted on also including $17 for the postage which I would have had to pay if it was posted. It worked out to about $96 from memory, more expensive than Kmart but at least we have all 8 seasons now, Kmart only sell seasons 1-6.
Anybody managed to pickup any of the $10 titles? As my local Kmart Warriewood had only got like 5 or 6 of each title and one of the staff members told me that somone had come in first thing in the morning and purchased all the Married with children, Bewitched, I dream of jenie, Laguna Beach, simple life and Girls of the Playboy Mansion.
Now they only have recruits, s1 the office, the comedy ones and the Sherlock Holmes ones left that I could see. But said they should be getting some more in.
The only one I managed to get was “seth macfarlane’s cavalcade of cartoon comedy”
Also told me they hadn’t received “The Shield” yet which is the one I really wanted. So I just have to ring them over the next few days to find out if they have it and get them to hold i for me.
I picked up seasons 1-5 of The Shield (they were out of season 6) for $10 each and Dexter 1-3 for $22 each from Kmart at the Morley Galleria in Perth yesterday. Also picked up a couple of kids’ movies for $10’ish each. Good haul all in all.
I must’ve gotten there just in time too because at least 3 of those seasons of The Shield I took were the last copy they appeared to have on the shelves.
