  Frontline original is not a good product any more. Frontline plus already has resistance issues. Frontline original is pretty much useless, you may as well use nothing on your dog and save $25.

      For flea control only i'd get activyl, for a multi product I'd get revolution (advocate would also be ok). Personally I use revolution on my cats and activyl on the dogs unless I'm travelling and then the dogs get nexgard.

      My vet put me onto Comfortis (Orange) tablets for one of my cats rather than Revolution, which I use on the other two, as this particular fluff-ball has a nasty flea allergy and needed something that worked fast. Well it works a treat! No adverse reaction (other than the scratches I get feeding her the tablet!), just be sure to give them a little food after the tablet to avoid upsetting their tummy.
