After reading through this and this i wanted a quality wahl clipper, made in USA and found this, reduced to clear at myer online. Listed available at knox, southland and eastland s.c. in Vic.
Cheapest price elsewhere in Aus i found is $120.
I just grabbed one and thought someone might find it useful.

First $20, then $75, now $100…
Hairy business is not getting any cheaper.
Then again, we've gone from [pretty much] disposable fluff trimmer, temporary side-burn trimmer to proper trimmer. This one will last far more than 5 times that of the cheapest option, and do the job it was designed for.

From personal experience, I can tell you that might end badly (it's all still there, thanks for asking). Better to get a personal groomer that's smaller/lighter and cordless.
Avoid that area mate ..unbearable pain if hairs are stuck into it…

This is still not as good as the Super Taper.
I've had a Super Taper for probably over 15 years, using it every 2 weeks or so… Still no sign of any deterioration in performance.
I was looking at that one as well. Other than colour and different product number, couldn't see any other difference. It might be a newer version, so might be better or worse.
The one in myer includes the trimmer as well and is a proven version, according to all the reviews.
Wahl has a lot of different clippers. the Colour Pro is designed for home use. I believe the Designer is one of the trimmers built for professional barbers (http://www.mywahlpro.com/). They don't give much away in the way of specs but I suspect you'll find the motor more powerful. If you can find the Super Taper for a similar price i recommend it.
