Can you double dip with this deal on air conditioners that expires today?
    http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/pay-less-aircons

Probably not, but would be interested if anyone tries!

    • You could do it last time when TV'S Had cashback but not 100% sure it will work on the aircon deal

      • Don't see why not.

One is offered by vendor, one is offered by retailer (TGG).

NVM… my bad… figured both are offered by The not so Good Guy.

Found out and Yes you can combine the 2 deals :)

      • One expires today and the other doesn't start until tomorrow so care to explain how you can use both?

        • Huh? the Aircon deal expires today and the up to $200 eftpos card starts today

    • I did this a couple of years ago, so I'm sure you can.

    They are doing a Kogan

Look at the price of the Logitech Z623, $229 which is full retail.

    http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/logitech-computer-speakers-z62…

A Google search shows the price $137 which is still highest.

Yep - I went in for an air conditioner, their price was $250 more than Harvey Normans. Asked for the price beat policy, to which salesman said I could have one or the other. Price Beat, OR the Eftpos Card ($250). Walked out - keep it. I will go elsewhere.

    • which aircon?

      • Fujitsu 7.1 kw inverter split. ASTG24KMCA.
Edit: Their in store price was displaying $100 more than showing online.

        • God that's a powerful model lol, that will blow you out the room

        • @TRENT86: It is pretty darn hot here. :)

        • @hsvjez: Here too, big storm came through this morning and now it's humid as

The annoying thing is that every salesman will answer differently. These chains dont appear to have a firm policy on how to pricematch

      • +3

Nothing says failure like working retail in your mid to late 20s, except doing it with a piss poor attitude.

        • +1

The good guys carseldine are terrible. They dont care at all about customers. The only prerequisite to work there is to be a centrelink specialist, and have a lobotomy. They dont know s#% t about s#*t

    • +4

I think you can buy it first and redeem the gift card. Then claim the 120% price difference later, you have 30 days. Just get a screenshot of that HN price.

        Best answer.

I was told over the phone they would price match & get the store card, but when in store they said no store card if they price match.
The NOT so good guys, f#cking time wasters.

    • Walked out - keep it. I will go elsewhere.

The salesman probably thought "lol okay".

      • I couldn't care less what he thought. His loss. Was about to drop $1500 on an appliance. Now I'll take my business to a competitor. Not jumping through hoops to satisfy any retailer.

        • His loss.

          He probably didn't care.

        • @ronnknee: I'm sure he didn't. Which is why I had to call his attention in the first place. Coupled with the poor attitude, and sloppy presentation, I hope they hire more like him.. I'm sure he'll go far in the world of retail.

  • Any 65" OLED 2016 screens cheap? their site is balls slow

  • Damn I bought a new washing machine from them yesterday instore. Good deal

  • Sony 48" - $995 http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/sony-48-inches121cm-fhd-led-lc…
    +
    Chromecast - $39 http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/google-google-chromecast-h2g2-…

    for $834

Or add a $5 item to get the TV for $800. Though this is not the best price compared to binglee ebay deal which is $710 but those who don't have a store nearby for pickup this is a better price. I have to drive 324 kms for pickup from the nearby Binglee store :D

If you are lucky to get good guys price match with this https://www.videopro.com.au/p-8353-sony-bravia-48-kdl48w700c…
    then
    Sony 48" - $880
    +
    Chromecast - 39
    +
some other $81 item all for $800 after $200 payless card

  • They removed the 7 series 65" Sammy?

  • Dam, just bout the 48" j6200 from them only a few days ago!

  • Should I get the 55" Sony KDL55W800C LED for $1,288 with this or wait for a more 'normal' price discount?

  • Got my A/C 10 days ago and claimed the pay-less cashback, then Harvey Norman advertised a price $100 cheaper. Also claimed, successfully, the price-difference claim. I suggest everyone keep an eye on competitor prices for the next 30 days. I wasn't able to double-dip the other pay-less offers :(
