Calibre 5L Engine Coolant $19.50 @ Supercheap Auto. Type A & B. Approx 55% off

60

While in store I saw the Calibre Coolant over 50% off. Both red & green types, same price. As usual, flush fully first. Note the red OAT variety has 20x the Ethyl Glycol volume as the Green. The active life is also more than double the green with 5yrs vs 2yrs. The red also can be diluted with water up to 50%…But do your research as maybe some cars can't use the red OAT. Normally Aluminium core radiators can use OAT Type B (Red), but older brass/ copper cores need Type A (Green).

  • how can you find out if your car use red or green?
    would the stuff know?

    • The stuff itself…probably not ;) However, the staff at my store were just as useful.

The key bit is this "Aluminium core radiators can use OAT Type B (Red), but older brass/ copper cores need Type A (Green)".

Hit up ol' mate Google or a dealer to find out which you have.

  • Looks like a good deal, thanks.
