      Paypal must have sent the email. BEWARE: Do not click redeem unless you are in the process of purchasing a book. Otherwise it will be very impossible for you to get the discount. Just got a call back from google, there's absolutely nothing they can do about it, bad luck, thank you come again. Their advice, contact paypal for another discount code.

      All books in one of OP's links are free (even ones that cost more than $3 eg. Deadpool Comic). The others are not.

      Just to confirm, paying for it when it doesn't have the discount applied, definitely doesn't end up with you getting it for free. You pay the price advertised when pressing pay. Now I have to process a refund since you can't refund books by yourself.

    Thanks OP. Been wanting Deadpool kills the Marvel universe for a while now. At RRP ~$8 I couldn't really justify it, but at $0 it's a bargain.

        I contacted Google and got a refund. This time when I followed the link the book comes up with "Enjoy a book on us."

    Perhaps this is only for Google Play accounts with linked Paypal account?!? I don't see it as free and nothing under Rewards.

    EDIT: Got it to work. Select book and click payment then change funding to redeem a code and enter PAYPALBOOKS2016AU

          Doubt it. I redeemed it on my iPhone. You can download Google apps for iOS.

      No. It's just a free book promotion, there's no payment through PayPal.

    I redeemed the code yesterday but did not select a book. The books showed that they were available for the code. Went in today to select same book from the list but it does not have that note anymore and it says I already redeemed the code. Nothing new in my books. :(

      I had a similar problem. I added PayPal as a payment method and then clicked on the original promotion link again and this time when I clicked on a book I saw the indication that the purchase could be covered by the reward.

        Definitely did not work for me, adding a paypal account did absolutely nothing at all. When re-clicking the link, it does the exact same thing, cannot buy, already used. I redeemed the code without buying anything thinking that my next purchase would have $3 off.

        Just checked my rewards section, definitely nothing there even though I redeemed the code using the original link.
