You should be quoting Australian prices, not the US prices.
e.g. Borderlands Handsome Collection is AUD $39.98 (down from AUD $99.95)

    • OP is a yank, look at their pic…

    • I don't mind the US prices, as long as there's a rough conversion of what it'll cost in $A as well.

It's easy to buy digital copies from other regions for XBOne - the problem is, when the exchange rate is weaker (like now), it might actually be cheaper to buy from the Aussie digital store.

        Sadly it still usually isn't.

        • I've found many titles to only be marginally worse off, maybe a dollar or two here or there. The AU stores also benefited from one or two sales last year for 25% off Microsoft Credit which probably makes it the better option for anyone that stocked up when those sales were on.

In some cases the US stores still better value, although increasingly I think there's other non US regions people have turned to such as Russia which have more consistently had the lower price.

        • @Smigit: In this case Borderlands 2 is $16.48. On the US store it's $6. That's twice the price factoring in currency conversion.

        • @SirFlibbled: yeah I'm not saying it's universal, just that of the past three or four purchases I've made the AU store was within about a dollar of the US, and ahead after factoring in 25% discounts on prepaid cards. As always it pays to shop around.

I suspect most Activision games will still be terribly inflated for the AUD if I was to take a stab in the dark for example.

  • Might buy the Bioshocks and Borderlands as digital copies so I can easily use them on my Xbone (I'm anti discs and happy to drop $20 so I don't have to use them for those games).

    • drat.. AU prices are ridiculous for 360.

      Borderlands 2 is about $17
