Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro 3GB RAM/32GB ROM Gray $229.99 USD (~$302 AUD) Delivered @ DealsMachine

80
NOTE3PRONOTE3PRO1

Special price using the coupon for first 200 phones only. Free shipping is standard shipping, Expedited Shipping is an extra $9.70 USD (total becomes $239.69 USD, ~$315.18 AUD). Insurance is extra $5.60 USD if you want (total then becomes $245.29 USD, ~$322.75 AUD for having both expedited & insurance) (note all these AUD conversions are based on an approximate current rate of 0.76 AUD/USD which you should get close to with a 28 Degrees Mastercard etc.)

You may get cashback by purchasing through cashback sites, such as GivingAssistant up to 7% or TopCashBack, 8% for new & 3% for existing customers. But given how finicky the system of coupons and cashbacks can be, treat the cashback as a bonus, not a reason to buy.

These do NOT come pre-installed with Play Store etc. All phones will be stock firmware but will be rooted so you can go ahead and install your own play store etc. Therefore do not purchase if you're not willing to tinker around

For Gray please use coupon code "NOTE3PRO"
For Silver or Gold please use the code "NOTE3PRO1"

Instructions for purchasing
Please follow these instructions for purchasing to ensure the order goes smoothly.

1. (optional) Access Dealsmachine via a cashback website GivingAssistant up to 7% or TopCashBack, 8% for new & 3% for existing customers. Remember to follow the cashback website's instructions to ensure the purchase is tracked successfully.
2. Navigate to the product page via searching "Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro" and choosing the desired phone color, note that it would be the expensive three, the cheaper three are 16GB phones and the coupons will not work on them
3. Add the item to the shopping cart
4. Apply the coupon "NOTE3PRO" (for Gray) or "NOTE3PRO1" (for Gold and Silver) (without the quotes) to the coupon field and hit Apply Code.
5. Click on the "Proceed to Checkout" button, avoid clicking on the PayPal checkout button
6. Change the shipping method to Expedited if you wish, and tick the "Add shipping insurance to your order" in the Shipping Method section of the checkout if you want that included
7. Scroll down and make sure the Grand Total price is correct for the phone and the shipping/insurance options you've selected.
8. Proceed with payment and hopefully there won't be any problems

Please use the purchasing method above. For the previous deals it was found that the coupons and the PayPal checkout buttons sometimes causes problems with the coupon being rejected etc. You can still pay using PayPal by first clicking the checkout button, it just means there's more clicks and some checking needed to ensure that the correct shipping method is selected and insurance is added or removed.

Do note the 2GB RAM/16GB ROM version is still available from Everbuying currently for $177.12 USD (~$233.05 AUD) with free standard shipping from here. So the price difference comes down to the extra 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal ROM.

I'm currently still part of the iSheep crowd so will not be able to help you if you have any Android questions, though I'm sure your fellow OzBargainers will help you out, or you could likely find the answers if you google around.

Edit: Updated with details for Gold and Silver phones too.

  • What about warranty ?

    • Warranty is one year with the store

What is the store's address ?

        • You would have to go through an RMA process with the store, from which they would provide the address you would have to post the item, my understanding is that it would be overseas. As to who pays for postage, most likely that would be the customer unless if it was the seller's/manufacturer's fault (wrong item, DOA etc.).

@ScaryZombie: If you are associated then you should be having information about store address etc.

          @pyramid:

I am associated in that I help them post deals every now and then if they seem bargain worthy and in return I occasionally get a discount on purchases I make with them. Though I don't purchase from them too often.

I do not work for the company, and am not an official store rep.

  • Any bargains on a Redmi Note 2? :)

Given that I think this mob is associated with the likes of Gearbest, Everbuying etc, I would suggest your warranty is virtually non existent.

Once you return a product to them, at your cost they will either stop communicating with you, or they will offer you some token amount as a refund. The web is littered with how these guys operate. Unless you are fortunate ie. no problem with the device, you pretty much don't have a warranty.

Here are the ip addresses of dealsmachine, note they are co-located with probably the worst operators on the web with supplying dud products, not shipping products, shipping products late, or honoring warranties.

Gearbest has been banned from OzBargain, you have been warned

I wonder how many of them are associated with each other. LOL at the site name NastyDress.com. PayPal may offer some protection, but then again PayPal aren't completely reliable. I guess it all comes down to a question of risk vs reward (benefit). The web is indeed littered with many unhappy customers, however that can be said for a lot of sites. DealsMachine does have fairly favorable reviews (except Web of Trust), however, there is no distinguishing between reviews for high priced or low priced items, or potentially paid-for reviews for any website. It would be nice if there were reliable Australian stores which offered imported stock. Like a more reliable version of Kogan.

I do know that Gearbest are banned. I had hoped to have posted a deal from their website http://www.gearbest.com/robotime-_gear/ which is for wooden model puzzles, which are cheaper than available elsewhere. Would be great for children to paint. I thought the military trucks looked pretty cool with their rocket/missile launchers.

  • These phones been around long enough to have a selection of decent ROMs or is it basically just the xiaomi one?

  • Good price for this model, though I don't get anywhere near the 76c conversion rate, so ~$327ish before delivery for me. I grabbed one from Vickmall last week and it'll be here this week, so I can vouch for their system, in case someone prefers a different vendor. there's a rep who posts here, too (Selina).
