yeh, you should have put free shipping or something, cos its confusing when u have $5bux shipping right next to the headline. even on the site it doesn't say

    • Ok, sorry for the misleading post :)

By the way, i've put up $9.95 Delivered on my post here :)

      Cheers.

    • +5

It was perfectly clear to me.

      • +1 and it means the rep isn't making two deals for it rather just the one stopping those complaining about that.

  • Yeah i got the OW $12.88 one about a week ago, pity or i would have ordered this, good deal anyway

    • -1

You lost $2.93 by not waiting.

      • +5

thats like 5 packs of mi goreng… Sigh… (im a student)

        • lol!

That is like 5 pieces of Roti-Canai if you got it cheap somewhere

          • @GoodBargain: I wish I could get 5pcs of Roti canai for $2.93 in Aust!

            • +2

@zhenjie: The frozen ones they sell in chinatown are pretty good. Just gotta pan-heat them. Almost as good as the real thing. It's getting the curry right that's difficult.

Why the hell are we talking about roti-canai? :P

              • @Livert: @ Livert

                No idea :)
maybe i started the topic. lol.

                You're from MY?

                • @GoodBargain: Yeah, quite a while ago….

                  • @Livert: Whoa.. Malaysians… I'm a stone's throw away. From singapore.. Haha..

                    • @ragflan: Singapore, yay! :)

Is it time to open a food discussion on the actual boards? XD

On the deal…I already collect enough USB sticks, but since I lose my caps often, no cap might be a good idea, lol. >.>

              • @Livert: Whatever happened to the ones you could buy at woolies? I haven't seen them in ages

            • @zhenjie: lol. Not impossible IMO.

If you know how to make it on your own,
the ingredient cost for 5pieces of Roti-Canai should be around $3?

              Cheers

Just that i am away on holiday from next week. I would of loved to order it..ohh well

Very reasonable prices. Perfect timing too, with the new Xbox Dashboard update that lets you store data (game demos, save data, videos, etc.) on a USB drive up to 16GB.

  • I like your website. Very neat and clean. Is it a template or custom made. You dont seem to have many items though

    • Thank you :)

It's a template but some of them are custom made.
And we bought and write own modules to improve the features on the site.

  • Is it just me, I can't seem to find a button to add the item into the cart to buy it. Maybe it's because I just woke up and I'm a bit slow this morning.

    • Ahh you have to register before you can add things to the cart.
When you pay by paypal it pays a company called Oozboom and I think the guy who owns that company got banned from ozbargain.

      • Oozboom website is owned by another company.

This is fully owned by us.

        Enjoy your stay with us

        • +1

          Ok no worries.

I think Paypal may have paid the wrong company as I just made a purchase and it paid Oozboom Pty Ltd to [email protected] can you confirm if this is the correct account I should of paid or should I be contacting paypal to reverse the charges with them?

I don't have anything against oozboom so I don't mind if you have nothing to do with them or you are the same person as them, as I have received excellent service and products at a great price from them in the past.

  • @GoodBargain
If you are backed by a big IT product supplier, can you consider giving a good deal on a Netbook with a good spec, like what was offered by HarveyNorman last week. So many people missed that deal despite reaching the HN stores before 8.30 a.m. in the morning.

  • I can smell SOCKET PUPPET here.

    • This is a GOOD DEAL.
But I have NEG it because GOODBARGAIN said they have nothing to do with OOZBOOM,
but a lookup of the 2 companies comes up with the same ABN: 23 140 840 606

      @GoodBargain::::

      Please come clean!

      • Oozboom.com.au will be close down for now

And i never mentioned that oozboom has nothing to do with us.
it's just not under the same company.

Oozboom pty ltd will only hold GoodBargain.com.au from now onwards :)

        Sorry for misleading you guys.

        • apology accepted!
          Neg will be remove shortly….

          • @MegaMemory: Thank you :)

Hope you enjoy your stay with us.

We promise you a massive variety of the products you need at astonishingly low prices. Look forward to constantly updated stock.

            Cheers

      • Good spot. You see this with web hosting companies. Behind the scenes it's all one operation but they operate with several distinct shopfronts to increase their visibility.

Of course big companies do similar things with brands and the issue of whether it's dodgy has never been clear cut to me. Hard to argue against transparency, though.

        • This is "business"? :)

          Anyway, thanks for your comment.

        • @Jabba
This is simple if you read the above questions and answers:

Question: When you pay by paypal it pays a company called Oozboom and I think the guy who owns that company got banned from ozbargain.
Response: Oozboom website is owned by another company. This is fully owned by us.

          2)
I think Paypal may have paid the wrong company as I just made a purchase and it paid Oozboom Pty Ltd to [email protected] can you confirm if this is the correct account I should of paid or should I be contacting paypal to reverse the charges with them?

Response: Yea. sure. Confirmed to be [email protected]

the responses doesn't add up and thats why I neg it.

    • Why would you say so? :)
We have re-structure the business and manage it in a different way.

Human make mistakes, we are willing to learn and change :)

I have a Cruzer Blade and quite like the small and light design (though cheap and plasticky is another fair way to describe it).

The main thing you have to know about it is its write speeds are slow. A touch over 4 MB/sec sequential. It's great for some purposes but not anything that involves regularly copying large files to it.

    • So if this one is slow, I advice any Sydney CBD ppl to go to Lapy King cause they had plenty left of the Kingston 4GB Slim for $5. I got a normal sized one instead of the slim because that slim looks easy to break and lose.

  • Been meaning to buy this from Officeworks for a while now, so this was my incentive and just placed an order. Hoping all goes well!

    • Got mine today. Great stuff!

  • So can someone tell me the differences between this and the Kingston 4Gb I picked up for $5 from Lapy King (on Amex). Is it much faster?

  • NOTE: This USB does not come with a lid

  • -1
    • You'll be saving, what, 50 cents? But you gotta walk to Officeworks and deal with the people there to price match.. All that for saving 50 cents is not really worth it. Unless you need a 4GB flash drive like RIGHT NOW and can't wait for the shipping period.

  • what's the transfer speed like? Also is it possible to make it bootable USB stick? Does it come with a retractable lid? 2 years warranty only? Saving $2 not to go to officeworks. This deal isn't great.

    • Yeah not that brilliant but still a reasonable deal I think. I don't see why 2 years warranty is bad, I think some have no warranty except for the 2 week return policy, and this price is actually closer to $3 off Officeworks which is almost 25% off, plus it gets to your mailbox.

  • So this is like a dealextreme targeted at Australian people?

    • I don't think DX sells genuine Sandisk drives.

  • Any plans to routinely change the main deal on the front page every 24 hours like other sites? Good way to get people regularly checking for new stuff.
